My RB Project, going all in!
Photoshoot coming soon!
So the shop put all the removed interior panels in my trunk to avoid losing them including the glovebox they removed to do the wiring. They must've activated the valet lock out somehow in that process too. Now the trunk is locked with the glovebox that opens it inside it!

Or try geting into the back seat and feel around the middle for a red "rope" and pull it (its located between the center console and the leather back rest). I dont know if this will allow the rear seats to fold down with the valet lock engaged
Many weekends, a girlfriend and a lot of brain bandwidth
That's what I figured, I don't want to cut the wires to jump them, is there a way to jump it with the connector on? Can I fold a wire in there to close the circuit?

The Valet lock is more or less triggered by an open SPST circuit. Try jumping the wires.

What about the real key? Is the circuit broken on the lock?
There's a connector that hooks up to the back of the glovebox where the key would go, but the whole glove box is locked in the trunk. It's confusing I know, but it's been handled now. My mechanic found the red rope and made his way there.
I'm not gonna lie, I don't know how I feel about this swap haha, one side of me says why go with a smaller motor vs TT, but at the same time I can appreciate the uniquness of the build and the quality of the swap. Congrats on thinking outside of the box, and making it work with such a quick turn around. I know the VQ has it's weaknesses while the RB is tried and true, but I also find the newer technology intriguing and would like to push it to it's limits, but hey that's just me, congrats on the build.
Haha! You should, but my mechanic found his way there before I even called him to let him know
I should be picking her up again tonight, may get her tuned too who knows
Thanks man, I can totally understand your point. I just wanted something to boost reliably with an MT and have always wanted an R34, problem solved
