Try e-mailing XXR with the wheel spec and tell them your car. They should be able to tell you...thats what they are there for! LoL. Good luck...keep us posted
Will do. Good idea. I just know that most companies will never tell you yes if it's on the border of doable.
So I can't find an email for xxr... and I went on two other wheel sites that carry that wheel and it doesn't show up as an option for my car in any size. Strange. Going to keep checking.
Also a recommendation on tire size would be great. This is not my forte. My 335xi cam staggered so when I bought volks I stayed staggered. But my tires are gonna last maybe 15000 miles and cost 1500$ so this time I want to stay square on my wife's car.
With a stretched tire they will fit, the wheels will poke a bit but the tires will tuck if you run 255/35s. On the first page or two of this thread you'll see some 10.5 +35 on 275s and they squeak them in. A 10.25 +40 will be 8mm tucked in from those sets and running a stretched tire will give you some extra room, still aggressive but do-able.
Thanks a lot for the help. That's what I was looking for. It's a cheap wheel so I think I may wait for a better deal before pulling the trigger. Very hopeful to know the max setup though.

IMO I'd go a little less aggressive, even though they'll technically fit, it's going to be tight under certain conditions and running stretched tires isn't something I'd want to run on a daily driver. Plenty go that route, but running tires on the rim size they're designed for and not having to worry about interference, having to trim parts, or run heavy camber to get the fit is a solid plan
Looking at Niche Verona m149 20x10 40 mm offset. I would assume that would fit up front with out rubbing, but sites that I select my car only allow 20x9 up front.

Not sure how much room you have on the inside at the steering knuckle, w/ wider wheels and more positive offset it can get pretty close in there. Might shoot a PM to tbulsara and see what he says regarding that.
Ah I see. So the concern with the offset is the inside. I wonder how bad square tires would look on staggered 20x9 and 20x10
You will have OK clearance on the inside w/ the 10 +40, but your wheels will be right at the fender in front, staggered is easier to fit and as long as you're very careful w/ tire sizing they'll work ok on your AWD. You need to have your front to rear diameter variance less than 1% and there's several combos that are much less than that
Just when I think I have **** figured out I get some info that has me scratching my head. I thought +12 was more aggressive than a +22. Is it the other way around? I found some wheels I really liked and was going to run square +22 but the company said that +12 would be better to clear the brakes..now I am confused again

A +12 will push the wheel 10mm further out than the +22s so it will give you more caliper clearance but more problems at the fender
