Official~Best offsets for running FAT tires!
The definition of stretched varies from person to person, much like what is flush to one guy might seemed tucked to another, etc. I like to go to the manufacturers web site, look up the particular tire specs and see the factory recommended wheel width range. Any wheel narrower than that range would be considered a pinch, anything wider a stretch. Most tires have a 1.5-2" width range so there is quite a bit of room for an acceptable mount in most cases. ****************Tried looking up the Pilot Super Sports but couldn't find the specs on their site. An example, the Toyo T1Sports on a 275/35/19 lists a 9-11" wheel width with 9.5 being optimal. Keep in mind the closer you get to the widest recommended wheel width the more stable the sidewall will be (typically) https://www.toyotires.com/tire/patte...e-summer-tires

Figment Question
Helloooo friends! So I'm about to order a different set and could really use some advice.
Currently on 19x9.5+38 all around and going to buy 9.5 +40's for the rear and either +40's or +22's in the front (all they offer). I've got an 8mm spacer for testing, and the (now with spacer) +30 up front looks great. I can't fit another one in and still have threads, so the +22 is still a mystery.
Tires are all 255-40-19 btw and I'm reusing them. And I'm on Swift springs. I'd love the +22 if possible up front, but I don't want to order wheels and have them powdercoated if 2 end up rubbing.
Thank youuuu

Anyways, the 8mm spacer hardly made a difference. I really want to risk it thinking it'll work, but also don't want to risk it. Mind sending me an email and I'll send the pics? Ko843030@yahoo.com
If you don't mind the wheel poking outside the fender about a 3/4" those +22s would work. You'd have to flat-roll the front fenders so those 255s won't hit. My 9.5 +38s are about 3mm outside the fender, so those +22s would be out about 20mm. IMO the 9.5 +38s are a flush fit w/ in-spec camber (at least the wheels are flush), you could run more tire to fill the fenders when it's time to replace those 255s, I think that's a better look than poking wheels, but I'm old, lol.
Im with you there ^^^... fitment all depends on your drop and how much camber you're comfortable running. My 9.5+38 fronts aren't "hella" flush but I wouldn't try to fit a +22 on a sedan without expecting to play with the aforementioned variables
You guys rock! I am on Swift springs though, so my current 9.5 +38's are actually pretty sunken at like -2 degrees of camber. The rears are perfectly flush imo while the fronts are not. Think I have hope at +22 for the fronts then?? Got a local professional fender roller as well that I could use. Thanks for the help! Fingers crossed.
Post up the PICS!
