Looking for some advice to join the FAT Tire club with my G37S sedan. I'm in Seattle and with some sketchy roads I'm looking for some value forged wheels, so I've been looking for some of the new GTR DBA premium wheels since they're relatively inexpensive compared to aftermarket forged wheels.
After doing some reading on myg37 I've read that 4 fronts at all corners is the way to go as I don't want to run crazy camber (I'd like to have alighment specs as close to stock as possible). It's been a little tough trying to get people to break a set. I've been wondering if I should bite the bullet and buy 2 sets and maybe I could sell the rears on GTRheritage, ebay or maybe the .
I'm thinking of running the following:
Front: 20x9.5 ET45 - 255/35 (would this fit or should I go 245/35?)
Rear: 20x9.5 ET45 - 275/30 or 285/30?
Pretty sure 275/30 in the rear will fit, but was wondering if 285/30 might fit or if I might get some rubbing?
I used to have a G35 sedan with the 19" Rays and the 350Z springs front & G35 coupe sport springs rear and this wasn't too uncomfortable of a ride for me. I'm wondering if going to 20" wheels and probably the Tein Basis coilovers would be that much harsher a ride? I liked the G35 Rays but wanted a little beefier in the rear.
Also... with you guys going with these wider tires/wheels, have you noticed your cars tracks the road where big trucks have sort of depressed shallow grooves into the roads? Just wondering because when I drive my pop's Viper it follows the grooves and you almost have to fight it but he's got 275/345s which is quite a bit wider.

You will not rub with that at stock height, or a at a reasonable drop. Slammed? not sure.
I wouldn't go with a 285 on a 9.5, overkill. I'd stick to a 265 or 275 tops. I noticed going from a 245 to 275, my car tramlines quite a bit at lower speeds. If you're doing it just for looks, the 285s will work.

Lol yeah, overall I took it as a compliment. From a business standpoint, it's a bit of an odd strategy. They would take them down if I asked. It was more shocking then anything.

You can actually file a claim against them for copyright infringement. I believe the lowest amount in damages is around $3K. The only caveat is if you're using a photo hosting service. Need to read their terms of service very carefully as they often steal rights.

That's actually not true. I do this for a living Copyright is automatically implied when published in any format whether it be paper or digital. I can't go and steal a photo off of Facebook or Instagram without the owner's permission. People have successfully sued and there's a cottage industry of lawyers that does nothing but take these cases. It's quick and easy money. And depending on the use, the dollar figures can climb quickly.
Edit: After reading a bit more on the site and reading the writer's bio, he should know better. Go after his ***. Also, the site is using the photos to market a product meaning they're making money off of your efforts. Screen shot the page and find a copyright lawyer.

Lowered on Eibach ProKit, front and rear SPC camber kits, camber is within OEM spec but on the far negative side. No rubbing - my rear fender liner has been trimmed previously. My bumper bracket is not trimmed.

These are pretty light, considering I have Advan RS-D 20x9, 20x10 with similar tire specs.
Looking to track with this set up in June at MSR Houston.
What is the largest rear tire you think I can fit on these Nismos, I am tucking tire a little now that I'm lowered on fortune auto 500 coilovers.
I am currently on my Advan RSD 20" x9/x10 with +20 offset all around, 255/35 front and 275/30 rear Falken 452, rear are too streched for my liking, especially since I started tracking, thinking the Falkens run a little smaller. Running -3 camber front and rear with no rubbing.
I am thinking 265 or 275/35 Michelin Pilot SS, would that be stretched too much on a 10.5" width?

I know the PSS run a bit wider than most, but I doubt they run wide enough where a 265 would have the same fit as the 275 Falken, maybe at the shoulder but not the tread block. A 265 is a reasonable mount on a 10.5" especially the slightly wider PSS. Maybe run the 265 and back off the camber a bit, unless you really want to run -3 for tracking.
