Official~Best offsets for running FAT tires!
Hey guys,
Awesome discussion going on here. So many beautiful cars. This thread has been the source of so much inspiration for my own car. I am about to buy my first set of rims and tires for the G and I could use some advice. Help me get the right setup so I can join the club!

Just use your current front tire as the reference, you'll be 17mm out from where you are now w/ just the offset. You have another 1/2" (12mm) for the wider wheel, so that's 29mm total that your setup will be closer to the fender. Keep in mind the front fender doesn't have the flat roll that the rear does so there's more area for contact up there. It's going to be a tough fit I think.

I finally got my front tire situation handled on my new wheels, no more crazy VDC. Almost dialed in on the height and need some centercaps now..
I had to stretch a little to make things work, but does THICK = FAT?
