How does that tire set up handle compared to stock? 5 steps between front and rear calls for a good amount of understeer...I'll trade you my 285/35 PSS for those 295s

That's a great look. Thought about doing the same thing with my G37Vert but never have been able to run down a used set the Nizmo wheels before somebody else snatches em up. Are you running any spacers behind those or are those bolted straight on?

 

No spacers, front wheels could use a small spacer to make them flush

 

Looking into Gunmetal VFS 6... wanna run PSS or S-04's 255/285. The michlins fit a little bigger do you guys see any issue's? I would like to stay as square as possible... figure I can squeeze those in tho

As far as tires fitting the wheels you're good...fitting on the car may have an issue in the rear

 

Ideally I should be looking at 19" rims anyways, Canadian roads are like our dollar.... ****. Everyone knows the rim game tho... seams like I've been looking forever and Summer is now here.

 

I'd definitely recommend 19s over 20s, you'll have more options of better quality plus the performance advantages.
If you must go with 20s, I'd recommend something like these

This forum has a shtt ton of stock sets going for super cheap, Forged Rays can't go wrong. Plus, someone has to be the first G to rock BE wheels!

 

Yes I have been looking at RAYS as well.... but those BE GTS-AV MATT BLACK look like a winner too

I found a set of G27's.... F20x8.5 +38 / R20x9.5 +38 and want to run 245/285 for widths

Thoughts?

I know you got 295's back there blnewt but I think these will work no?

 

Should fit pretty well, I'm running 8.5 +40 on 245s in front and looks ok, with some room to go out. I wanted to stay a bit inside in front since those fenders aren't flat rolled like the rear. The 9.5 +38 will be the same at the fender as my setup (10 +45), 285 tire will be slightly bulged at the sidewall (very slight). BTW, I'm now running 285s, would go back to 295s but at the time I got new tires that wasn't an option (on a road trip w/ no time to wait for shipping).

 

I was wondering if a 285 was on the big side for a 9.5..... sounds like its borderline. I don't think a 275 gets me on this page tho

 

Looking for some advice to join the FAT Tire club with my G37S sedan. I'm in Seattle and with some sketchy roads I'm looking for some value forged wheels, so I've been looking for some of the new GTR DBA premium wheels since they're relatively inexpensive compared to aftermarket forged wheels.

After doing some reading on myg37 I've read that 4 fronts at all corners is the way to go as I don't want to run crazy camber (I'd like to have alighment specs as close to stock as possible). It's been a little tough trying to get people to break a set. I've been wondering if I should bite the bullet and buy 2 sets and maybe I could sell the rears on GTRheritage, ebay or maybe the .

I'm thinking of running the following:

Front: 20x9.5 ET45 - 255/35 (would this fit or should I go 245/35?)
Rear: 20x9.5 ET45 - 275/30 or 285/30?

Pretty sure 275/30 in the rear will fit, but was wondering if 285/30 might fit or if I might get some rubbing?

I used to have a G35 sedan with the 19" Rays and the 350Z springs front & G35 coupe sport springs rear and this wasn't too uncomfortable of a ride for me. I'm wondering if going to 20" wheels and probably the Tein Basis coilovers would be that much harsher a ride? I liked the G35 Rays but wanted a little beefier in the rear.

Also... with you guys going with these wider tires/wheels, have you noticed your cars tracks the road where big trucks have sort of depressed shallow grooves into the roads? Just wondering because when I drive my pop's Viper it follows the grooves and you almost have to fight it but he's got 275/345s which is quite a bit wider.
