Official~Best offsets for running FAT tires!
Great quality pics Dagon, really shows how perfect everything has come together on your G
Did you do a full clay bar/detail prior to those pics, looks like it's better than "showroom fresh"
Jdmposer, nice wheel choice, lookin' good!

I have an 08 g35x sedan, going with some custom Nutek wheels. I am just waiting for them to send me a render. I hope to have them mounted by mid April, no rush since we had snow here earlier this week and it is still sub 30
BTW I am thinking about this as a setup: Front 20x8.5 +25 and Rear 20x10 +38. Any thoughts or suggestions? I am looking to sit pretty flush, I am currently on Eibach springs but may go coils in the future.
No point in going lower at this time considering I am already driving 3 ft up the grass sideways before hitting my super steep driveway. In the winter I just pack snow down and create a ramp lmao.

Tire sizing... :dunno:
Alright gentlemen... Researching tires for the new wheels. Below you will find a lot of numbers but I'm starting to think of what could be the "best" sizes.
Vehicle: 2012 G37S Sedan w/ Swift Springs.
Wheels: Forgeline MD3P 19x9.5 +40 & 19x10.5 +45
Tire Sizes
Front:
Option #1: 255/35 {Sidewall height: 89.25mm (3.51")}
~~ 10mm (0.4'') closer to suspension/brakes components.
~~ Stick out 20 mm (0.8'') farther. (Closer to fender)
~~ Wheelwells clearance: 100% clear (leaves even more room than OEM)
~~ When speedometer reads 60mph (96.6km/h) actual speed will be 58.1mph (93.5km/h): 3.2% slower.
~~ Sidewall is 10.5mm (0.42") shorter than compared to 285/35.
Option #2: 255/40 {Sidewall height: 102mm (4.02")}
~~ 10 mm (0.4'') closer to suspension/brakes components.
~~ Stick out 20 mm (0.8'') farther. (Closer to fender)
~~ Will fill out the wheelwell by extra 2 mm.
~~ When speedometer reads 60mph (96.6km/h) actual speed will be 60.4mph (97.2km/h): 0.7% faster.
~~ Sidewall is 2.25mm (0.12") taller than compared to 285/35.
Rear:
Option #1: 285/35 {Sidewall height: 99.75mm (3.93")}
~~ 15 mm (0.6'') closer to suspension/brakes components.
~~ Stick out 25 mm (1'') farther. (Closer to fender)
~~ Will fill out the wheelwell by extra 3 mm.
~~ When speedometer reads 60mph (96.6km/h) actual speed will be 60.5mph (97.4km/h): 0.8% faster.
~~ See above for sidewall comparisons.
Option #2: 295/35 {Sidewall height: 103.25mm (4.06")}
~~ 20 mm (0.8'') closer to suspension/brakes components.
~~ Stick out 30 mm (1.2'') farther.
~~ Will fill out the wheelwell by extra 6 mm.
~~ When speedometer reads 60mph (96.6km/h) actual speed will be 61.1mph (98.4km/h): 1.8% faster.
~~ Sidewall is 14mm (0.55")} taller than compared to 255/35.
~~ Sidewall is 1.25mm (0.04") Taller than compared to 255/40
It seems a 255/40 & 295/35 might be ideal but I start getting limited in tire options and pricing does go up. A 255/40 & 285/35 keeps the tire rotations closest to OEM and I can find the BFG Comp-2's for less than $1k. However, the front sidewall will be taller than the rear. A 255/35 & 285/35 gets pricing below $900 but also at the cost of the front rotation at the highest difference (3.2% slower) and smallest sidewall. This will relate to a harder ride. Of course these are all minimal differences but there are positives and negatives.
Also I really wanted to run the BFG Comp-2 tires, 255/35, 255/40 & 285/35. However they are not offered in a 295/35-19. The Michelin Pilot Super Sport are the most expensive and is offered in all three sizes; 255/40, 255/35 & 295/35. The BFG KDW are offered in a 255/35 & 295/35, but I'd rather not run them on the G.
Thoughts...

I'd be just a bit worried that the 295s might barely nip the inside of the fender lip. My 295s barely get inside the fender and I'm at the same offset but a 10" rim.

I think I'd go w/ the 255/40 & 285. The slightly taller sidewall shouldn't have much effect, although either size front wont matter much since it's not AWD and the speedo's not effected, so I guess if the 35s are your preference why not?
