Help me confirm wheel fitment before I order

Hi everyone,

I am about to buy my first set of rims for my g37 coupe. I have chosen the Rohana RC10 with a staggered fitment of 20x9 front 20x10 rear. I want these to sit as flush as possible while running the most tire I can fit, without any modifications. After spending hours reading through wheel and tire threads I have come up with the following setup:

20x9 +15 245/35 General G-MAX AS-03
20x10 +25 275/30 General G-MAX AS-03

I just want to make sure I will be able to run this setup without any modifications to the car (fender rolling, negative camber, shaving the bumper bracket).

I should also mention that I am planning on dropping the car with the eibach pro kit springs.

So my question to you is…. will this setup work? Can I run fatter tires? How will my speedo be affected?

Thanks for your help in advance. If you are in the So.Cal area, are there any shops you recommend to instal the wheels and suspension?

Thanks,
Jordan

I'm not as up on coupe offsets since I've only had a couple G Sedans, but you can certainly run more tire (as long as the offsets are right).
I'm running 245s on an 8.5" rim and 295s on a 10", so you could run a 255/295 setup. I'm at zero fender gap on coils so you're wheels will be out a couple mm w/ the higher Eibachs. Click on my Garage for some pics of the fit. Camber well in spec & no trimming fender liner or bracket (but the coupe may be different under there)
Those offsets seem pretty close from other coupe fitments that I've seen, but best to get a coupe guy to confirm.

For sure the rear you will still need to trim the bumper bracket and possibly fender liner. Also the front being a 35 series will rub if lowered with a +15 on a 9. On Eibachs I would personally stay around a 20x9 +25 and 20x10 +30 with a 245/35/20 and 275/30/20 if you plan to stay with those sizes mentioned. In the past, I ran a 20x10.5 +30 275/30/20 and easily rubbed. Your 20x10 +25 275/30/20 will be equivalent to that.

Well I'm in luck, they offer these wheels in 20x9 +25 for the front. But I am out of luck with the back. My only options are the 20x10 +25 or 20x10 +40. Or go ever wider and do 20x11 +28, but I doubt that will work...

I feel like 20x10 +40 will be pretty sunk in the wheel well... right? If I use a different spring set up will that help? I'm trying to avoid using spacers but that is still an option as a last resort.

Thanks guys!

Do they offer a 10.5" w/ offsets somewhere in the middle?

20x10 +25 will sit very nice but you will more then likely rub. If you really want that setup, you can alway's trim your rear bumper bracket a tad.

This man knows his stuff, anything Vossen & Offset related you can take to the bank. A little trim to the bracket is a small sacrifice for that perfect fit & look

Unfortunately the only sizes are 20x9, 20x10, and 20x11.

I think I'll go for it and try the 20x9 +25 20x10 +25 set up with 245/35 up front and 275/30 in the back. What exactly is the rear bumper bracket? I'm guessing it holds the bumper to the chasis so it doesn't flop around? I can live with that getting shaved down a little bit as long as nothing is affected. These Infinitis are such nice cars, I really don't want to take away from the OEM fit and finish.

Thank you blnewt and Diego for your help, you guys rock!

Here's some pictures of the wheels. The color of my G is liquid platinum so this should be a pretty accurate picture of what it will look like:

I'm really liking vossen VVSCV1 in the matted grafite. I have an '08 37s. Any recommendations for sizes and fits? Spacers needed? I'm not planning on lowering my car at all. Any pics of black 37's with this wheel out there?

I haven't seen that combo but it sounds pretty sweet. There's quite a few black Gs in the vossen thread with matte graphite wheels; havent seen any with CV1s though. Maybe you'll be the first!

In regards to sizes, there's plenty of people running vossen wheels on this forum. I would start with the vossen thread to see what people are running. I'm sure Diego can give you a definitive answer though.
