What would be the safest offset to run in the rear without any trimming and rubbing? Thanks!

Won't be as aggressive, but will be a much easier fit, and wheels will be closer to the fender rather than poking out.

2008 RWD Sedan
right now on IPL's

Swift Springs

F - 8.5 +43 255/40
R - 9 +45 275/40

Looking at ESR sr08

I'd like to keep my tire size or close to it. Nothing stretched.
Just looking for a bit more width out of a wheel, something flush.

Would the 10.5 in the rear be too much? +15 is what they have listed on the website. Some other close wheels, I saw +22.

Should I go with 9.5 all around?
or just buy spacers for the IPL's and go with them?

I'd get spacers and keep your IPLs, a higher quality wheel and they look really nice on your red G.
On a sedan, a 10.5 +45 is typically a flush fit, the much less positive offset for those wheels will really be poking big time

15mm front and 10mm rear will get you nice and flush w/ the tires you're currently running. And if you do decide on aftermarket wheels you should be able to find the exact offsets for the perfect fit without having poke or fender issues.

I had ESR SR08 19x9.5 +35 all around, they were the perfect fit with little camber and no fender mods. Anything wider and/or less offset and you'll be asking for fitment trouble.

Looking at Enkei NT03rr in 18x9.5 27offset

I’m on true style coils and have front and rear camber arms. Will these be too aggressive for my sedan?

My 9.5 +38s are a bit outside the fenders (the wheel edge, not the tires), an extra 11mm out from mine would require pretty heavy camber or running stretched tires, not sure if I would recommend that.

Quick question about "backspace" measurement? Is that the same as offset? I'm looking at switching to a different set of wheels that are a tad smaller so I don't have to run stretched tires.

The new set I'm looking at are 20x8.5 40mm offset and 20x9.5 40mm offset, which looks ok when I put it into the fitment calculator, but I'm worried about clearing my sport brakes? Tire rack doesn't list it fitting the sport model, but they do for the base coupe?

I noticed the term backspace on tire rack and now I'm confused again. Which happens a lot. Lol. Any help is appreciated.

Here's a bit more clarity on that
https://www.tirerack.com/wheels/tech...jsp?techid=101
Offset is measurement from centerline to the mounting flange, backspacing is mounting flange to inside lip of wheel.

So I got the 19x9 square wheels I'd asked about, got them powdercoated in as close to hyper silver as I could get, and today they got installed. I'm thrilled!!

I'm pretty sure somebody's going to recommend a drop. I won't do it just for aesthetics, but I suspect I'm going to want coilovers next. If I go for that then sure I'll give it a mild drop.

Drops always look good w/ bigger diameter wheels sets, but those coupe 19s look proper on ALL G sedans

Would 19x9.5 +40mm rims fit on 13' g37 sedan.?

Would 19x9.5 +40mm rims fit on 13' g37 sedan.?
- Would it sit flush?
- No fender adjustment needed?
- Camber kit needed?
