They do look good i just don't know that the shop can replicate oem color. I have a few weeks to decide thanks for the example..
Mines or saints example isn't hyper silver oem color. It's very close but medium shade gunmetal. Mines is black chrome and Saint example is little darker is ultra black chrome. Should be available at any powder coat shop.
Got my R2Cs installed, and absolutely love them so far. They sound fantastic and maybe felt a little quicker, but it may just be the sound making me think that .
Did have an issue with the passenger side, but I just cut the tubing as Rochester did. But in trying to get it in there properly I knocked the edge molding loose and I couldn't get it back on properly so I taped it as you can see. At first I thought this would partially defeat the point of the molding as the tape would hold it down, but it popped back off and now is sitting at least as high as it would had it not come loose and is just held in place by the tape. The look doesn't really bug me but should I glue it on instead?
First big mod I've done, now hopefully I don't slide too far down the mod path. First impressions is that it's a perfect level of sound for me, but we'll see if my feelings change when I get more used to it. Next up are sways and wheels/tires.
Yanked the coilover springs in the rear and threw my swift springs in the back. Got some sick of the spring noises coming from the rear and also wanted the rear raised a bit. Need to raise the front a little, but no noises now and the ride has not changed since my spring rates on my swift upgrade on the FA's were the same as the swift lowering springs.

Looking good, ctyke.
Bolt it down, and you'll never have to worry about it.
The reason it pops loose is also in this picture. The passenger side has that cut-out area for the radiator hose, which reduces how much edge molding is available to wrap around the heat shield.
And now that you're eyeballing your engine bay, then there's this:

Had fun installing my Stillen Cat-back exhaust today. Very easy and straight forward. Fit and finish are as good as you could ever ask for in an aftermarket exhaust. I was a little concerned when I chose Stillen over the ARK and other options as I had heard it has a rather conservative exhaust tone. Well, I am pleasantly surprised with how nice it sounds, even without an intake upgrade. It's got a nice burble at idle and really sweet growl when you get on it. Looking forward to installing my R2C whenever it decides to show up on my doorstep.
1K2go, nice exhaust. great job installing it.
Did it take long?
Does it hang lower than stock?
Thanks, took about 2hrs. without help. With help, probably 4hrs.
It hangs a bit lower and does decrease approach angles a bit. Learned that on my first trip off my driveway.
Took it out today on an open back road and it feels and sounds great. Chased an M5 for a while until he started taking stupid risks to stay in front of me, which I made sure he had to work and earn. In sport mode it feels much more lively.
Just hit a skunk with mine at highway speeds, poor bastard flew. Nothing looks broken but it's too dark to see, and there's no car washes open this late so hopefully I'm not in for too much of a surprise come morning.
