Step back and let's see the purple elements in the context of the whole car.

And damn, those wheels are attractive in these up-close photos.

Hub-centric rings? What was wrong with your previous set?

My car came w/a lifetime engine warranty covering all parts that contact oil... On thr stipulation I get professional SAE certified changes every 3k/3M.
It's a bit often for my tastes, but it keeps me on schedule, and no point in buying synthetic on that interval... Especially if the engine is guaranteed.

So I go to Speedway, even though I try to do most of my own work.

Not a bad idea to have a bag of extras on hand, however I'm still using the same original three clip in my OEM undercarriage tray. Can't imagine why you would replace them every time they're unclipped. I don't get that.
'Cause they seem to lose their mojo and the new ones have a nice 'snap' to 'em. LOL.

Will do when the sun comes back out. Hub rings were a little worn from what I believe to be when I transferred over to the new ride. Had aluminum before....so $10 later and a brand new set...all is right again.

And thanks for the compliment. ...never had one single regret on my rim decision. Now just can't wait to get the powdered

so first impression? How do you like it? Def looks like more than a .25" drop as advertised.

I'd imagine w/ all your mods under your belt there would be little to no drama there, but still, a nice couple additions for sure

I'm starting out with the easy stuff. The factory aero kit was refreshingly straight forward to install, as long as I didn't use those crazy Japanese fire drill instructions. Tracking shows my exhaust is due in this Thursday so lets see how my knuckles feel after that project. I've heard that headers are a real PITA to install on this car too, but I'm sure its a piece of cake compared to the NSX.

I had a STS in my '04 Accord coupe V6, Neuspeed I think. I do not remember there being this big of a difference in the shift/throw distance. The tightness while in gear is awesome, something the stock set up really lacks. It's a little quirky getting into reverse, but I think that's a combination of the STS and the titanium ****, which is smaller than stock.

Overall I like it a lot, and I already feel it breaking in after a lot of miles driven today (for me). I drove it down to a shop to have the DD tail as turn installed, and it was stop and go traffic the whole way, so I had to shift quite bit.

My only complaint is the overall height, which was definitely reduced by at least an inch. It's livable, but I'll be happier with the latheworks extension. For the price of $110 shipped and $100 installed, it's an excellent mod.

Thanks for the feedback Furlow...I'm still waiting for my **** to come in before installing it. What do you mean by "quirky" to get into reverse? The shop mess up and not realign the pin to ensure the reverse lockout functions as before?

No nothing is messed up at all. But because each gear is so precise, reverse was a bit hard to "find" at first. Like I said, after just a day of driving, it's loosened up and now reverse is no problem. Or maybe I'm just more used to it. Maybe a little of both.
