Also did a thing…..was never a big fan of the single exit but was looking for budget friendly while having a great note. Hopefully can install tomorrow
I'm curious as to what you think about the sound and performance of the single outlet setup. I have never been a fan either, but SOHO built a custom exhaust for their new Z and discovered it performed as well or better than dual outlet, and also sounded better and less prone to rasp. I believe they also make an insert for the other side of the rear bumper so it looks more finished.
Did some underhood "mods" today while I wait for my backordered suspension arms to show up. Rad cap was OEM and I'm not sure its ever been changed, so picked up this HKS unit to toss on. Needed a sock for the PS reservoir as well, so ordered this Project Mu piece to fill that void.
Back in October 2022 before modding/tuning I had my oil pressure checked. They said it was 25 psi at idle, and 65 psi at 2k. At the time I believe the engine contained 5W-30.
I just checked my oil pressure after years of being tuned, shooting flames, revving it really high, etc.
At idle the gauge read 33 psi. At 2k RPM the gauge read 60 psi. Oil is 5W-40.
Installed a frameless auto-dimming rear-view mirror with Homelink in my sedan today. I'm not 100% sure, but it seems like 10-pin Nissan/ Infiniti rear-view mirrors are plug-n-play with these cars. Grabbed a 2022 Versa mirror on eBay, and it installed with no issues. Let's see if my battery drains in the next few days lol.
Auto-dimming isn't as seamless anymore (the OE mirror frame covers the area that doesn't dim), and I lost a little bit of width for visibility, but gained some in height. Finally got my Homelink back, and now have a simpler, more elegant rear-view mirror imo.
Very cool!!! Thank you for posting this. Any chance you have the OEM p/n?
It was not stated on the listing I got it from, but the part number seems to be T99L17LG0A. I think as long as it's a 10-pin connector (our cars have 3 wires for constant and ignition 12V and ground. The rest are for other features our car doesn't have), and came from a Nissan/Infiniti (for the windshield mounting), it should fit.
Car was filthy after a few roadtrips, so gave it a pretty deep cleaning. Due for another professional paint correction I think, last one was over 3 years ago.
Also slapped the SKYLINE emblem on there. Thanks to @Rochester for sending me his emblem-alignment apparatus, worked like a charm

Between yesterday and today I swapped out all of the door handles with OEM KH3 black parts with new gaskets and in the process pulled the mirrors to have them painted KH3 as well. I also finished buffing the entire car to finish the ceramic coating that I had already started.on the hood, front fenders, roof and trunk. Multi day process…
Next I am going to swap in stainless brake lines from Z1 and at the same time swap out the ceramic Z1 pads that came with their BBK for some Hawk HP pads. The ceramic pads don’t have much initial bite and since the Hawks were on sale at tire rack I figured might as well do this at the same time.
i did notice that Stoptech replaced their traditional black hat rotors with rotors that are dark grey throughout mimicking carbon ceramic rotors. They look pretty cool and I would def. give these a shot if I were to replace rotors at any time in the future.
Note: bad lighting in the picture - all of those specks are reflections not rock chips

StopTech and Centric alike have not been the same since they were acquired by "First Brands Group". I am still running their rotors, but switched to EBC for this brake change. Braking is excellent, even cold, but the Redstuff bedding material causes massive dusting.

So that explains why I couldn’t find the Stoptech rotors that I’ve been using for years. I guess they used this opportunity to redesign their rotors and we’ll see if they are any good..Sad when stuff like this happens.
Love the way this looks. No issues removing the imprint from the OEM lettering that has been there for over a decade?
I wondered that too.
related car stuff: took the cover off, got the connies put on, and drove 3 hours. All tram lining gone. It was the Kumho ps91s. Incredible grip when pushing it, twitchy like a meth head otherwise.
These are continental dsw06? I think. 245 front 275 rear on coupe sport rims.
shout out to @Rochester for the tire recommendation.
