Installed the Turn as Tail module, cleaned the engine, detailed the exterior and polished my headlights. I'm fricken beat up. Spent about 2 hours on the headlights. Good news is they look new.
It certainly does look good in those pics.
Haven't seen you around the forum in a long time. Been in a coma?
It's a 2 beer minimum. 1 before the job cause they're delicious and one quickly after as you admire your work and put your screw driver away.
Here's a Tail-as-turn tip: use some indoor/outdoor mounting tape to adhere the unit to the trunk frame behind the liner.
The new turn signal behavior is a solid improvement, supporting a contemporary design, but it's kind of anti-climatic. The moments when you can actually see the turn signal in action are really rare... like when there's a storefront window at the proper angle to notice what's going on.

+1 I used 2 heat sink pads on the outside ends of the resistor and indoor/outdoor tape in the middle and mounted it to the trunk frame.... just to help dissipate heat

Wow. Now that's thorough. Hats off to you, Entcee.

I watched an online video... he just left it hang. I'm surprised that DD never responded when you asked the question, they were active in that thread if I remember correctly?
I installed the driver's side rear tail light. I searched all around for an OEM tail light at a budget friendly price and was able to find it at https://www.infinitipartsdeal.com/pa...555-jk60b.html. It was an easy install too.

You should have checked the classifieds... ZM is selling a "Near New" set for $120

I bumped that question this morning. Here's the response:

Thanks!

Really should have that in the instructions. Maybe they did?
I used the mounting tape, Gorilla clear.... the screw driver was used to remove the cargo net clips.

That's odd. I used the yellow wire when I installed mine. Although I do have LED's for my factory turn signals and have those flashing along with LED rings, so maybe that's why I used it... It's been so long since I installed it that I can't actually remember what I did.
Will pull the trunk liner and take a pic when I get a chance so I can figure out what I did. LOL
Sedan owners, I have something really awesome to show you, it's one of a kind and as far as I can see no one has it! If anyone can guess what is, well, it won't be a surprise than.
