Yep, bought them as budget wheels from Grubbs Infiniti on a liquidation sale. I bought a set of four rears, 18x8.5. The black chrome is a cool finish, it makes the duckfeet look better IMO.
It's actually blue slate, but I agree, Lakeshore slate is a really awesome color.
Grubbs Infiniti down the street from me always has 37 items in stock. Prices are always decently reasonable. Some of the plastic bits can be pricey. But its nice to have a place that you can get stuff will call. Got these installed this morning and MAN! Does she breathe! Engine bay is looking decent right now. Ive got a few more things I'd like to do in the engine bay. But given how she breathes now, butt dyno says there is an increase in something. I think I'll be looking at some coilovers next. Its time to get the handling dialed in. Probably need to update the build thread and do a review on these.
So a few weeks ago I trimmed my engine cover. This weekend I cleaned up all the edges, gave it a fresh coat of paint and clear. Also did wrinkle black on the battery/brake booster covers. Looks much cleaner.
Where are your mass airflow sensors on that intake? Lookin' clean! Really like the anodized hardware on the cover.
EDIT: aw nevermind I see them on the lower section on the right intake. Is that the Z1?

All that, you're going to feel like you just got a new car. That's awesome.
How many PDR spots did you fix? What's the going for PDR these days... is it still per-ding, $100 give or take?
It's almost all dialed in from an aesthetics point of view, the only eye sore left is the curbed wheels & bald tires. I do have 2 holes in the bumper from the previous owner's front plate however I will not be going through the effort of repainting.
It really depends on the size & location, I would guess a single dent could cost you about $75-100. The more dents the cheaper it should be. I had 3 dents on body lines (3 of the 4 fenders had dents on the wheel arches), few dimple dents on the rear quarter, and larger dent on the drivers door that looked to be a botched PDR attempt. I was able to get all of this done for $250 by a friend that runs reputable PDR business here in Chicago.
I'll post some before and after pictures later today.
So i had a leftover tan passenger seat from my 4-in-1 seat deal, so i tried dying it black (not paint) to see how well I could get it to match. Well, it looks decent by itself, especially considering I still need to let it dry fully and apply the topcoat. But it's way more black the stock Infiniti leather. We'll see how it compares when its fully coated, cured, etc.... but I think this seat may end up being converted to a desk chair or something lol.
Installed the Cusco strut bar about 4 months ago on my 2013 sedan. Now there is what I can only describe as waves/warping on the bar? See pics. Anyone know if this is normal or is the bar weakening? Thank you.

As for the Cusco FTSB, that's normal, that's the hood liner damaging the clearcoat. Mine did the same till I took the liner off.

Same. Removed the sound deadening hood liner, and problem solved.
Last year I had Z1 motor mounts installed, and the engine actually lowered 5/8". Now I've got all kinds of space between the engine cover and the FSTB.
