The top pic is 100% oem. I did go into settings and turn off the moving parking lines - I hate those. I need to go into debug mode and see if I can adjust the color.

Re: the fisheye - yeah, the Rogue camera is a bit much. My wife has a 2015 CX5 and the camera on it is darn near perfect. Some wideangle but not to the level of the Rogue lens. Shame Mazda, as far as I can tell, uses a totally different camera electrically.

I'm still happier with the result than i was with OEM - I can see when someone is hauling *** down the parking lot lane which I can't see from inside the car. Don't know how many times I've had folks going 45 in the parking lot and then curse at me because I backed out and they had to panic stop. While generally I'd like to shoot their car with an EMP device and let them replace everything with a transistor, that is frowned upon in the South as involving too much science so... new camera.

Not today, but between last Thursday and yesterday I pulled the Fortune 500 coil-overs off the car and reinstalled the stock set-up. They will be FS soon.
While doing so, I noticed one of my ball joints was shredded:

Z1 FUCAs were ordered and installed this week; alignment happens tomorrow.

Finally narrowed down my cooling issues down to my thermostat that was sticking on high rpms and found this.

New thermostat clearly on the right. I'm really confused as to how the previous owner got this part instead of the correct part and also the hole with the washer (yes that is a washer) had a long bolt in it. Smh can anyone help me make sense of this? And also the metal gasket that's provided with the oem thermostat is enough right? Because now I have to scrape all this rtv off. Ugh

Where did you get your thermostat from? The gasket should be enough but the old thermostat's design is consistent with what I'm seeing for search results; except for the extra hole that is:
https://www.partsgeek.com/gbproducts...xoC7BoQAvD_BwE

https://www.mishimoto.com/infiniti-g...BoCQh8QAvD_BwE

https://www.carid.com/infiniti-g37-t...8&year_id=9539

The cap on the end of the spring on the new thermostat is inconsistent with the models I see when searching G37 thermostats. The rest however is identical

My guess is, the old owner bought a thermostat that was close to the design but not exact (referencing that bolt hole again) and when it leaked, he/she, or whoever installed the part, caked RTV to make it work.

Joined team wrinkle black. Did ceramic header paint with wrinkle finish on the intakes, heat shields, and strut bar.

I like that finish. Isn't that was the Soul Function bar comes like? Very nice.

Interesting engine bay, Andy. Catch can system looks fantastic. P2M clamps look sweet. Engine cover and bolts... awesome. Don't think I'd paint that fusebox anything but black, but whatever. And you still don't have a washer fluid cap, LOL.

You know P2M makes a clamp for the radiator hose, right?

Yup, perhaps when I upgrade my hoses to silicone next summer.

Thanks for the kind words 😁. And yes, the washer fluid cap... I'm considering getting the full metal ztoys set for washer fluid, power steering, etc

I had the ztoyz washer fluid cap. It would never stay on right, fitment was off in some way, and I kept failing at trying to make it right. So I ended up sanding down the OEM cap and painting it black.

Gt37

Found a killer deal on some 18 mustang GT wheels wrapped in pirellis with less than 2k miles. Then blacked out the headlight housings . Also I retrofitted some halos on to the stock projector shrouds. I love the look I think the rims look

great on the car. (Getting rid of the mustang caps soon)

The suction causes them to collapse. Go to Advance Auto and get a few feet of power steering line in the same size. It's not expensive and is reinforced so it won't suction shut. Plus, it looks cleaner.

Haha. Caught! See what had happened was I used a pcv delete to clean the bay. However it was vent to atmosphere and when the ac was turned on all those crank case gasses came right into the cabin 10x worse than the test pipe smell. So I removed it but cant seem to find my stock hoses lol!

Went back to my stock midpipe (previous one had 12" vibrants) today. My car is really quiet now, not used to it lol.
