Same. If it's OEM, then wouldn't there be a simple wire harness it plugs into? Kind of interested in knowing more about this OEM accent kit.

Correct part number is B64D0-JL100. That part number is for a Q50. Not sure how that one works but the one made for the G37, was in fact plug and play. It comes with a 3 way connector that plugs directly into the glove box light. One end connects to the original glove box connector, the other end is for the accent light connector. Here's the install instructions https://www.infiniti-techinfo.com/as.../T/K/1TK10.PDF It was fairly easy and was done in an hour. Took my time when it came to drilling the trim pieces that the lights are installed on.

Interesting. The q50 one was the only one I was aware of that was easily modified to work with the G. Wasn't aware of the other version. Doesn't show up on Canadian Infiniti parts sites.
Detailed the engine bay last night. Definitely something you should so in the daytime so it's easy to catch the spots missed. This G37 build has me tackling things I've never done before like cleaning an engine bay. I was surprised how easy it was with just 30 minutes of minimal effort. Hopefully there is a product out there that restores the blackness on the engine cover.
product called back to black. Its in a spray can. Works awesome. Heres a pic of under my hood. Sorry its a night time pic
Between teleworking and the WRX, I haven't had any seat time with the G since mid March. Had to go in to get a new badge and took the G. Did a couple spirited pulls and the ol' girl still has it. Big brakes will hopefully go on this summer. Been sitting almost a year now to go on.
So a few weeks ago I trimmed my engine cover. This weekend I cleaned up all the edges, gave it a fresh coat of paint and clear. Also did wrinkle black on the battery/brake booster covers. Looks much cleaner.
^^ do you have the PCV delete? Also what did you just for the emblem to stay on?
No PCV delete, running a closed loop catch can system instead. It's nice when the intakes suck in a bit of water when it's really pouring, grabs it all instead of recirculating it and damaging the motor. Emblem is epoxied on lol.
That trim looks really good. I cleaned my engine bay today while I was tearing it apart trying to find a blown fuse. Tried Rochester's tire shine trick on all the plastics - it really does work!
I've yet to actually really detail it. I personally don't like using petroleum based back to black products. I prefer water based stuff like silk and shine from chemical guys for both, tires and plastics. It gives a rich black satin finish with no residue or streaks.
What did I do to my sedan today? Took Rochester's recommendation. Meguiars endurance tire gel. This stuff is the truth! Really happy with the result, brand new. Makes me feel like a pro. You might think it's pricey at 9 bucks. But a quarter sized dallop and you are good to go! Best 9 bucks spent! Thanks!! Now that Fuji emblem...

Awesome! Really happy that you guys liked it. I apply it somewhat liberally with an applicator pad, then buff the plastics with a microfiber towel. Makes matte black plastics look freakishly new, and lasts a long time. If you have an SUV in the house, with black cladding, it's perfect dressing for that kind of stuff.
I tried Back-2-Black a few times like a decade ago, and didn't care for it. Too liquid-y, too messy, didn't last at all.

Finally got around to putting on the BBK today. Took me about 6 hours, which may seem long to a lot of you, but I was taking my time with everything. I'd rather spend all day than pay a shop $400. It's not like I have anything else to do during quarantine .
