I FINALLY installed swift lowering springs and SPC upper A-arms last Sat/Sun, but got it aligned today. I had the parts in my garage for about a year and I finally bit the bullet. I had never attempted anything with the suspension before so it was a little hairy in some parts, but I was able to complete it solo. I made sure I had good tools and a Milwaukee 12v Impact driver (tho 14v would have been better) before starting. Not sure I could have done it without the Impact Driver. The car looks like a sport sedan now and no longer has the "mini-van gap" as I called it.

SPC Upper A-Arm and Swift Spring

^ Looks great! Nice and flush without all that gap. Congrats on doing it all yourself! Just curious what you needed the impact driver for? I've had my suspension off my car 20+ times and have only used an impact gun when I'm being lazy. LOL

Those strut bolts are put on @ 1,600 ft. lb. torque from factory (or so it felt). No shame in admitting 28 yr. old me happily broke out an impac for the install.

Installed the STI lip today. After cutting the wheel well overhang off, I trimmed off the end caps from the cutoff pieces and plastic epoxied them back to the wing then painted everything with truck bed liner. Can't tell unless you really look for it! Super happy with how it turned out.

Also took a play from the Rochester playbook and paint matched the chrome that was around the grill to the body color. LOVE it!

Wish I could take credit for that, but I found that idea here on the forum, too, just like you did.

Grille looks great, MNfiniti.

Friday was her first day out of the garage in over 3 weeks. Installed fast intentions resonated test pipes. Boy is she awake now! I didn't think i would enjoy it so much. And to the guys that look back at theirs in the parking garage more than once, I'm right there with ya. Try walking by a damn window without eyeing the ride. Still in love with this wonderful machine.

In what way did cleaning the throttle bodies and changing the tranny fluid make a huge difference?
