Those look excellent iCrap. Did you end up doing the same stripping process to all of them? Let me know how your install goes.

I didn't, i stripped one chemically down to the metal but the others I sanded the powedercoat with 320 grit to rough it up and sprayed the caliper paint overtop, then cleared, then baked them to cure the paint. Turned out great actually.

Will post and update / pics whenever I get them installed

I'd rather a metallic yellow, but have to say those look fantastic. Making me jealous, icrap.

Appreciate you taking the time to try two different techniques and reporting on the re-paint process. Looks like they turned out great! Any noticeable difference between the one that was chem. peeled vs. the sanded down ones?

Maybe it's the pic but the caliper on the far left looks more "yellow" than the rest. Was that the chemically peeled one?

I suspect it's the consequence of that caliper being closest to the lens and having the largest screen area that makes its color pop.

Haha thanks! I lucked out finding the background pic. Lighting was really similar to the look I got from the light painting in the garage.

It's the picture - the chemically peeled one is the one on the right side actually. In person they all look the same to me. The real test will be to see how durable it is I suppose. I would imagine the stripped one would be more durable?

Yeah, the car's yellow is a more appealing yellow than the calipers. Is that Honda's Rio Yellow Pearl, like on the old NSX?

I feel like we've had this discussion before.

Either way, I want yellow calipers on my G so bad I can taste it, and it tastes like lemon drops.

It's Spa Yellow which is on the earlier S2000 and NSX (this is a 2001), Rio Yellow is like 2005+ and it's a little darker and has more metallic flake in it

Removed one hub today to prep for my brake ducts. It did not come off easy, it was quite a pain in the blank. I will replace the bearings too while I'm at it, and then install my extended studs too.
