Now that you've lived with it for a while, what do you think compared to the one-piece? Pros, cons, price?
I've never had a one-piece before
I got this model for two considerations: storage, which is great, and I'm able to remove the narrow wedge pieces and get under the car from the either side, whether it's myself or a jack/etc. It's been helpful when installing end-links so the car is under load.
Mmmm, candy red would look nice. I almost went with candy red, but then decided to keep my colours more or less blue everywhere. Pop the hood, BAM, BLUE!!! This ties into it all.
Oh wow, those look really good! Now you've really got me thinking.... so, do I stick with the current brakes in white to match the body or change it up and redo them in candy red to match the rest of my undercarriage and engine bay parts? Hmmmm...
Yes, dirty... but just look at that! Perfect stance and fit, beautiful aggressive wheels, very attractive take for the Akebono brakes on an AWD sedan. This custom splitter, and even this odd little Q50 3.7 emblem. Overall fantastic work, hexotic.

I bet you're eyeballing those headlights now.
I hate that 3.7 emblem lol. Just can never get around to getting it off.
They put that emblem on the q40 sedan (g37 rename for the final year of its release) I dont like it
I want to do the headlights, but my springs caught up to me, and I need to do the rear shocks first. I got my hands on a spare steering wheel as well, going to see if I can make a custom one myself. Put some leatherworking and 3D printing skills to the test. After that, going to spend some money on an aluminum undertray (or make my own if I can finally get access to a metal shop).
A month ago I was saying to myself "after the brakes, THATS IT!" I lied...
OMG. Love all that red hardware underneath the car.
Gotta give 2GoRNot2G a bow for that.
Much appreciated! Candy red suspension was never really part of the plan, but I have been considering adding an "accent" color to some of the suspension parts for years. So when I got my Air Lift kit and saw that most of the aluminum parts in the kit were anodized red it really just seemed to make sense to match those parts... and candy red turned out to be the best match. Now I just need to decide if I should go the same route with the brakes or not.

Speaking of sexy, she is dirty, Ill have to take some proper photos with sunlight hitting the brakes with the car clean later, but she is ready
Wow, those really turned out great, Andy. Props for doing all that work yourself! It's very satisfying when you can finally see the results of all that hard work. Great job!
