Zoomed in, I see that now. Seems reasonably paired with the bobbleheads on the dash.

And if you think I'm mocking you, well, I am just a little. But in full disclosure, almost 20 years ago I used to drive around with a life-like, 18" baby alligator on the rear deck of my new 1999 Maxima. And for the life of me, I can't remember why I was doing that except that it made me smile.

It's all good. No offense taken.

Put my new grille on a couple days ago, think it turned out pretty good!

I also got my tcai in the mail and wanted to get some opinions on whether or not I should wait to put it on and get a splash guard for it. I've seen a lot of people on here say not enough water goes through the grille for it to matter but I wasn't sure if that'd be the case with a mesh one. any thoughts?

No splash shield. The filter is so tight up to the grille IDK that it would fit.

I would think that more water will go through that mesh grill over the oem.

Today, my sedan lost 2 doors, 2 seats and a roof. Well not really. I still have both. You can sort of see it in the back there.

Despite what my wife says, one day I will own an AP1 S2000 one day preferably yellow just like that. Absolutely beautiful specimen! I'm a bit jealous of what you have there. Congrats.

Thanks. Don't let the picture fool you, it needs some work. Bumper is chipped up, headlights were fogged (fixed them today, they look great now), that lip on the bottom is installed in the most ghetto way, i think it's 2 sided tape. It's all minor cosmetic stuff.
BUT it popped up for sale Wednesday night and given the miles, condition, color and price we had to jump on it

Guess it depends how often you're in real heavy rain, like any kind of insurance I suppose (probably would need it unless you didn't get it, and wouldn't need it if you did )
BTW, new grill looks nice, might even think about that larger Q70 badge in front.

yea that front emblem is comically tiny on there, needs a bigger one for sure.
