ahhhh some reason I was under the impression you had more engine goodies. Owell, what clear did you use for the engine?

 

Nah keeping the engine bay simple and I used VHT clearcoat.

 

On which parts? I'm guessing the plastics... engine cover, back pieces and radiator shroud.

There's another approach you can take with black plastics. Clean them first, then apply Tire Gel and buff them dry. You get a much more natural shine. Do this twice a year, and periodically wipe things down with a protectant, like 303 Aerospace.

 

I wish I would've known that 2 days ago lol but I'll certainly try that out on the rest! I only used the clearcoat on my ipl engine cover and the 2 back pieces.

I took it Ina rip up the FDR drive late tonight. There's nothing like the howl of a VQ coming back at you off the concrete walls of the underpasses.
