While on topic of disconnecting the battery... anybody know the technique for resetting the one-touch-up on the windows? I'm an idiot.
Yes push window button down and then up and hold the button up for about 5 seconds. That should reset it

From yesterday morning and throughout the day, the ignition behaved totally normal. This was after disconnecting the battery (and resetting the windows and radio.) As soon as it gets weird again, that's when I'm going to crawl into the driver's footwell and study the clutch switch situation.
Rochester , good news I finally got my TWM STS from Liam a week or two ago, and waiting for my new shift **** upon arrival today
Can't wait !! Had to wait 3 weeks for the **** to be completed as I requested something Raceseng doesn't currently offer on their website, that is deeper engraving powdercoated in translucent red, which came out really really good!

Since Liam's new B&M shifter has its own urethane cup, I see that he sent you the TWM with the OEM cup already pressed into place. That was damn fine and decent of him to do that.
So... you never installed the shifter, waiting on the ****? That's an uncharacteristic display of patience, buddy.

I believe you still need a boot ring under that ****. You'll see what I mean when it all comes together. (LatheWerks can cut you a ring for a fair price, you know.)

Yeah I never installed the shifter knowing after I got it, it'd be a matter of 2-3 more weeks before the shift **** would be done and ready, that is indeed an uncharacteristic display of patience, I think I've learned to manage that a bit better over the past 3 years
I hate to do it but I got a fitment question. I won't even act like I understand camber offset etc. I came across a set of clean tsw thruxtons for 475..they are 19x8 in front 19x9.5 in rear. He said he believes the offset is 20. Said they were on a 350z. Would they fit without modifications on an 09 g37x? If so what's thickest tire I could run

I wouldn't be so hasty. If they're really a great deal then you may want to consider them. The +20mm offset if fine for our cars considering that the wheels are fairly narrow. A +20 offset on an 8" wheel is basically equivalent to a ~ +32mm offset on a 9" wheel or +38mm on a 9.5" wide wheel, which is perfectly fine for the front. I'm currently running 20x9.5" up front with a +30mm offset and 255 wide tires without any clearance issues. A +20 offset on the 9.5" for the rear would be a little tighter. That's exactly equivalent to the +32mm on 10.5" wide wheels which I am running in the rear, but you will have to run some negative camber and/or stretch the tires a bit. I was running 265's and 275's in the rear with around 2.2° negative camber. The staggered wheels aren't an issue per say, but as John mentioned running staggered tires on an AWD car can cause issues, so you would either need to run a square tire set-up or make sure to get tires with equal/nearly equal rolling diameters. I've owned a couple of different AWD cars that had staggered set-up's and no issues. It can be done, but you just have to be careful with the tires sizes.
