So here in Texas it's required to have a license plate on the front bumper (not windshield). Anyone else in a state where they require the same? Needing ideas on how to relocate it.....have to buy bumperplugs as well......smh
Ok....just learned Osiris is what I'll need to tune/flash my ECU when I do a I/H/E mod. Luckily, UpRev is just 45min away from me and a tuner 15min away! I feel like a kid with a new toy.....all I want to do is drive my G!
Guys, read this thread: https://www.myg37.com/forums/brakes-...g-project.html
Those front support braces from the Vert looks like a very appealing mod.

I have the front one from the NISMO 350Z on my car (the rear wont fit due to my sub box). It is a completely dramatic change (for the better) vs not running it. My car was never uncomfortable, despite its very low stance and low profile tires (HKS coilovers and 265/30, 185/30 RE050A), but with the front damper installed, the car was a pleasure to drive on our crappy local roads. So much so that it is more composed than my daily driver ('07 9-3 Aero Wagon).
Here is a review from one of our Subaru STi customers who had them on his car (Yamaha makes them for Subaru, Nissan and I believe there are a couple Toyotas that have them too)

For plate relocation options you can look into the stillen tow hook plate frame or one of those fancy hideaway ones.
Rochester, here is the part numbers for the damper. Pretty expensive part!

damper bar front = E44B2-1A34A
bracket-damper bar, front left = E44A7-1A35A
bracket-damper bar, front right = E44A6-1A35A

I'm also interested in the rear brace. I want to see if the 370Z uses the same p/n. I bet there are a bunch of people on the 370 board that upgrade to the GT-Spec rear brace and have their OEM piece collecting dust
As for that catback... I reached out to 1CleanG today for a status update on the order I placed 5 weeks ago. Turns out he doesn't have access to FI's build queue, so my only option is to continue with patience, and expect the advertised 10-12 week turn-around.
Hmm.
Fortunately, we're digging out of 12" snow today, so it's not like I can do anything with the catback were it to show up......except maybe take pictures of it sitting on my dining room table.
Sup fellas, glad to see you're all still keeping this thread alive! I know I've been away for a bit again but I 've been busy making a couple of changes to my baby. Hope you like
