I've average around 18mpg with normal driving back and forth to work (60/40 - freeway/street). When I play hard on the weekend with the weekday work travel thrown in I'm down about 15mpg. The only long trip I took, I was up around 24mpg.

The car only has 4k miles on it.

wow, i'm doing pretty bad i guess: 12 mpg, and that's with very very minimal traffic.

then again, the first thing i do when i get into the car is turn off traction control, and regularly see the yellow slip warning slight. although its a 5AT, it's manually shifted about 97.6% of the time.

I average between 21 and 23 mpg. About 60% freeway, 40% city, and I'm a heavy user of cruise control when I'm not "having fun".

No idea how you guys are north of 20. I took a trip from Sacramento to Long Beach...how ever many hundred miles straight up and down I-5...and I still only averaged 22.
