Miles Per Gallon Feedback
Greg- I'm no expert, but you need to press them- 10 seems *way* too low- but i would try to reset and confirm after another full tank. i just got mine 4 weeks ago, and drive in 1/2 city, half highway every day- and i am averaging 20-21 mpg. I've driven 1000 miles already- and it's pretty consistant. i've reset it every time i've filled the tank. i would hope you're using premium octane.
I'm always in the low 20s when driving day to day. On a road trip my record was 29 just because i was moving and drifting behind my friends truck at 65 then entire time. On a trip I usually do 25 ish...and I always drive "brisky" as namir put it.
Anybody Here Post On Fuelly.com?
I've been using Fuelly.com for a while and feel it's a nice place to keep track of my MPG and see what others are getting as well.
Currently I'm averaging 17.5 but I only have 700 miles on the car so far. It's better than my Camaro anyway.
There are 94 Infiniti's that currently log their millage there.
The more folks that use Fuelly.com the more info we will have to compare.

ive only had my 2010 G37 sedan sport 6mt for about 1000miles now and still driving like a jerk to break it in.
but according to my trip computer on a few drives.......
highway driving while doing a lot of speeding up and slowing down to break in engine, with a mix of city and highway driving in stop and go traffic from DC>NYC, then mostly country driving from NYC>VT, got 22+mpg (cruising at about 72mph on highway)
VT>upstate NY driving over the Appalachian Gap in VT and RT 8 through the adirondacks got 26.1mpg on a 350mi trip
Around the city driving like a madman, 15.9mpg.

I've been getting 20-22 for 2.5 years now. About 60-65% highway / 35-40% city. Even if I have my occassional spirited drive, I still get about 20. All you guys who get 16ish and below must either have a super heavy foot or you're driving a lot of city.
17.6 according to the big display (I'm at about 370 miles so far on the engine, I'm expecting the mpg to go a little north after break-in). My Mustang Cobra gets about the same with a 4.6L SC V8 (16.5-17).
The only thing with tires is slightly higher weight, but I think that is negligible. The big factor is the Vossen wheels like TreSe7en said...but I don't think they would cause it to be THAT low. MPG is essentially a huge logarithm with tons of factors. The wheel weight is just one part of it.
