im a little under 200 miles on my x coupe, and im averaging 14.3 mpg!! and im being very gentle with the car, so what gives?! maybe it's b/c im driving on hilly back roads but still... seems like hummer numbers. i cant imagine how it's going to be once i really step on the pedal.
Let the engine get broken in first, and if you still have those #'s then something is wrong or you're not doing something right. I get 27mpg on the hwy and that's using A/C on hilly roads. New engines are very stiff and need to be broken in.
Averaging 16.9 per gallon. Mostly city driving. I drive semi spiritedly in MM most of the time.
Literaly the exact same here. 16.9 driving around town and stuff in DS or manual mode. When I first got the car it was only 16.5-16.7 but that was with no mods. So i think the exhaust and intake could have helped some. Or I just do a little more hwy driving since i've come to college.
Yeah I was a lil worried too but thats cuz I just got my g37x. 350miles and I avg 15 MPG. I'm pretty sure once I break in the engine, I'll see improvements.... it better

The first 500 miles on my car, I averaged around 14 also. Once I hit 1000 miles, I started to average in the 20s.
Give it some time. If you are still averaging 14s after 1000 miles, then theres something wrong or you drive constantly at redline.
~350 miles on car.. basic suburb driving as I'm Mr. Mom this week and have my 14 month old in the back(car is a week old). Averaging 17.8 MPG accordig to the read out... that is with normal acceleration, no pedal to the floor etc.
