I'm really curious to see if the 300hp version (plus tune) is going to be a better value than the Red Sport S...similar to how most people go with the 335i/435i and a tune rather than the M3/M4

This, but I think the limiters on the turbo will need to be overrided. Wonder if that is possible and what power is there. You have to think Infiniti isn't going to give up much in this trim to aftermarket since it would cannablize sales.
i still have my factory exhaust, which is far less polluty than most running catless around here.
Evo X MR, with a $500 Cobb Accessport. that's it.
Evo X makes good power if you up the boost to 983287203 psi but the engine tends to blow up rather quickly with this much boost and the interior looks like it's from a 25 year old van. Good car for high school kid but too boy racer for anyone older. My G37 makes 600whp on just 10 psi, that's a well built engine right there, try that with a 2.0 and a new map.

335 with a tune is not M3/M4, it's still a 335 with a tune. It's missing a ton of stuff that comes standard on M models, like LSD. Also 300hp and 400hp versions of Q60 engine have like 3 differences: one more water pump, optical sensor and a tune. They will probably make a few performance options standard on the 400hp version but it would make absolutely no sense getting the lesser version if you want more power as their pricing should not be all that much different if you add up all the options.

I never said a 335 + tune = M3...For most people, it's close enough and presents a better value.

nope, just a conservative "off the shelf" stage 1 map.

my 8 year old Evo interior looks better than my 3 year old G37 interior (and the auto climate actually works! )
im 46, and daily drove it. i dont really GAF what anyone thinks about yhe appearance.

congratulations, how much did that cost you? do you make use of that 600whp on your daily commute? LOL
Right and we have a 375hp dyno for the G and then 2.0L, a flash and 400hp is thrown out there. So I raised the polite BS flag.
i wasnt bragging (especially considering my Evo.is barely modded) ... my point was that 400hp out of a twin turbo V6 isnt some amazing feat, considering the G37 has 330hp without twin turbos.
just hoping the turbos arent close to maxed out by Infiniti, and there is room to make much more easily ... and CHEAPLY.
375whp out a twin tubro V6 does not sound farfetched at all. If we're lucky, AMS will get hold of an early production Q60S and offer a few stages, that would be sick. Am I the only one here still praying they offer an MT?

Wouldn't mind test-drivng the 6MT version. But buy it? I don't know. Probably have to see the actual car in person and play with the infotainment system that is complete garbage on the Q50.
