was there ever an explanation why bmw underrated the 335?

 

Although it was the torque which made 335 stand out not that because ti was underrated, to my understanding in Germany they pay taxes wrt the hp of the engine so their entire line up tends to be underrated.

 

Maybe same for japan?

Wait, is that 20inch wheels I see? So some one needs to fix the website or just offer the damn 20s. Also, the "Infiniti Radiant Grille Emblem" IS NOT on the Drivers or Tech but on the Drivers and Tech it is the same emblem it just does not light up.

so you can't get the black sports grille with Drivers Assistance or Technology packages???

 

No, because of the radar system that is used for the FCW, DCA, PFCW, PCD is housed behind the emblem.

 

I was able to build one with all the safety packages and the carbon fiber package and the grill was blacked out with that package. Is this a mistake?

Also, it says that 20's are standard. This seems to keep changing.

 

****, you are right. I was mistaken it with the EMBLEM LESS discussion we were having a few pages back.

As far as 20s, nothing is on the books or US build sheets. Just on the website in that one page.

See its right there, that's the picture they give for the carbon fibre package in the accessories section of the build.

The emblem has to stay, even in the CF package, or midnight grill add on, because of the tech. There is no COMPLETELY blacked out grill unfortunately.

 

Im not seeing the Silver sport model. Hopefully they drop it as I dont think the Coupe needs that many different versions for sale in one market. Besides, with the 19 inch wheels being standard on all models, and no differences in looks other than a badge and Silver color BBK, whats the point. Suspension, seats and paddle shifters?
