i dont mean to be rude to Infiniti for their special edition Q60, but for crying out loud I'm not buying the car because they are throwing in a free weekend bag from some top end fashion designer. smh

Yeah guys why complain about a version of a car you don't want to buy, when you have an option not to buy that version.
Same with DAS and other options available. Just don't get them. But stop rehashing the same gripe over and over again.

 

Because some people aren't happy unless they are pissing and moaning all the time, like we didn't get it the first 147 times.

 

If I had a dollar for every time they complained about those things, there would only be 49 of those Gold Q60s left 😂

 

If i had a million for everytime Infiniti screwed over an infiniti generation, i would have 2 million dollars. G37 IPL, no twin turbo; and Q60, you know what it is lol. infiniti needs to know where they can improve so that they can, and not make the same mistakes again.

 

If I had a dollar for every time the 1% say Infiniti is Screwing up with out acknowledging that sales are up, I would be able to buy a real skyline. Numbers don't lie, just because a 200 people on internet fourms don't like it, doesn't mean they ain't doing right.

I agree, we should have , DCT, quad turbos and no electronic aids but end of the day, those things won't sell more cars. Might sell a few more a month but not the hundreds and thousands they need. Small cars, Crossovers, exclusive technologies, high mpg, creature comforts and premium materials are whats selling now. And a company has to cater to the masses, not people that log on to a forum.

 

by "real skyline" you must mean + Twin turbo + ATTESA ETS AWD + less weight. exactly.

 

I was pretty sad to read that the exhaust note isn't what it used to be.
I mean, that was such a strong identifier for the brand. I've gotten used to not having it with my QX50, but for the Coupes?

This thread was originally posted long, long ago for the purpose of discussion prior to the reveal of the new Q60. It's been out for quite a while now. The wait is over. There has been discussion and argument in this thread for and against the car for whatever merits or flaws everyone loves or hates about it. Some have driven it and given first hand reports. Many have not, any won't ever. Lots of opinions both ways, the vast majority of them strongly stating their reasons for loving or hating the car. Over and over. And over.

Is there reason for this thread to remain open?

 

I don't really see a need for it anymore. Those who like it will buy it, those who don't will find something else and move on, it happens. As you stated this thread has gotten incredibly long, with a lot of it being arguing. So anybody wanting to find useful information about the Q60 would have to dig through pointless posts.

 

As the OP, I am ok with closing it. Seems like the last 15 pages have been 2 guys posting irrelevant information.

As I get more info on the actual Q60, I will start a new thread if deem necessary.
