timp, I have installed GTM Stage 2 in my M37S this week. I don't drive my car yet, but I will next week.

I read a lot about 7AT issues with FI and I'm afraid about reliability of the transmission. I know I will have to do VB upgrade and install tranmission oil cooler.

I have some questions regarding you experience with driving your car:

Did you up transmission pressure line yourself or you use ECU map from GTM only?

Do you drive always in manual mode or in D mode?

What about high speed? Do you accelerate on high gears?

Thanks,
Robert

You can drive in D Mode as long as your cruising, but if you want to push it always have it in Manual Mode then and never Mash on it in 1st gear, and stay out of the High Gears 5,6,7 (Never Boost in those gear) just roll into them from the prior gears.

Have a look at this link from GTM....

Read it over a few times. It will answer all your questions. Happy driving.

SPDCRZ For sure! I am hoping end of September. Just got back one of the SC as it needed a slight repair to one of the recessed bolts. GTM fixed it up quick and returned it back safe and sound. Good customer service.

UPDATE........ I have not had a lot of time to work on my project and because of a few fitment issues that are unique to the AWD I have been running into a few road blocks. Nothing that can't be fixed and I enjoy the challenge. Here is an example when it came to the P/S line from the pump to the rack. The intake piping does not leave any room for the stock P/S line so I had to make a new one. The picture on the left is a close up of the P/S pump with the line removed and you can see the banjo bolt. Not too much room!! The next picture you can see the comparison on the OEM and the new. I drilled and tapped the new banjo bolt so I could screw in the pressure sensor to keep everything tight. I will post some pictures once installed.

Finally got back the modified A/C lines that were needed to go around the driver side intake tubing. Also I got the MAF pipes ceramic coated for durability. Slowly going back together.

Getting close to finishing the project. As you can see the engine cover does not fit and will need a small amount of adjusting to fit over top the brace between the two superchargers. I will post some pictures after I have trimmed the plastic. Also the OEM windshield washer reservoir will not fit in the original location so I have decided to relocate in the trunk on the drivers side. I will post some more pictures once that is done.

Sick build, buddy. Why would you hide your engine under a plastic cover? Let it all hang out!
