Speaking of "The List" (capital "L", LOL), 2013 is over for all practical purposes, even though these ***** slipped into the mix. So did a ZeeToyz washer fluid cap that should be showing up any day.

Looking back since buying the car in Jan 2012, above and beyond the bank note, I spent $1600 in 2012, and $2400 in 2013. Granted, a good chunk of that was in tires. And there were all the incidentals of things like oil and car cleaning product. But still, pretty much on target. I've got another $2000 planned for 2014, and the same for 2015. Plans for 2016 and 2017 may get flip-flopped, but so far I've only scheduled through 2017... at which point the car will be paid off, and I'll start saving for "Next Car".

Here's the upcoming plan for 2014:
  • Michelin Pilot Super Sports - fronts only
  • Summer Tire Swap
  • FI Resonated High-flow cats
  • RHFC Install
  • Unorthodox Racing Crank Pulley
  • Stillen Short-Throw Shifter
  • Shifter and Pulley Install
  • Winter tire swap

And 2015:
  • Summer tire swap
  • 4.083 Rear Gears and kit
  • Rear gear install
  • Stillen Roof Wing
  • Painting the roof wing
  • Winter tire swap

And 2016:
  • Summer tire swap
  • FI Catback
  • Catback Install
  • Motordyne M37 Upper Intake Manifold
  • Upper Intake Install
  • UpRev Tune
  • Winter tire swap

And 2017:
  • Vossen CVT Directional Rims 19"
  • 19" Michelin PSS
  • TPMS Sensors
  • Tire Mounting & Balancing - no more swaps

That's a good list content-wise. However, I humbly suggest moving the catback up the list. My enjoyment of the car is *significantly* increases with that mod, more so than anything else. I would move it up to next year, that way you have more time to enjoy it before you move on down the dusty trail.

I appreciate the input, GFN. The beauty about long term planning is that plans are always flexible, and the list changes all the time. If the RHFC doesn't satisfy me enough next Spring, I may swap the schedule for the cat back and rear gears.

Can't wait to pick up my new *****. It was an impulse buy for me as well, just one of those things that I had to have after seeing it. Ray shipped quickly and used express shipping. The package got from Cali to WA in one day. Now I just got to get across the line to grab them.

They look great in your ride!

Thanks for the close ups John, you should be receiving kickbacks from the seller
I've settled on black carbon wrap for my washi panels so I think those ***** will really stand out against that backdrop.

Now you could easily counter with, "But you don't actually see any of that engine bay bullsh1t." And I suppose you'd be right. Although I do open the hood often and clean the engine bay, so IDK where I'm going with that.

Truth is, I'll probably do the GTR button someday. Right now, though, it's not on my list. Heck, these ***** weren't on my list either, they were an impulse purchase. Damn good one, though.
Damn you made me laugh and I hear what your saying. All of these things we do are minor tweaks. We all have mods on our list and the start button intrigued me enough to pull the trigger.

I've owned my G for a year and a half and only have done 4 interior mods: GTR start button, Carsmo *****, all LED interior lights swap and 12" woofer/amp. I'm sure I'll end up hard wiring a detector someday. I'd also like to do the DVD bypass but I'm not sure if I want to do surgery on my baby.

If you don't look at it or if you don't appreciate it, it's just not a good value. I must say though, for me, I look down at that Big Red Button every day.

Looks great! Sure you don't want a logo on there???
Glad you got the fitment sorted out.

Did you use a zip tie as a "leash"? I should have thought of that...

Yeah, a little black zip tie. Truth be told, I'm not happy about that, and would like something less obvious. Not sure what, though.
