What is a Plasmacluster Air Purifier? Charcoal infused cabin filter? I wonder how many technology packages were even sold? There were zero available with the Sport RWD package in Socal when I purchased. I was bummed then, but 12 years later I'm happy with the choice as the package includes more items that tend to fail in time.

 

It's an ionic air purifier that kills bacteria, helps kill some odors, and supposedly keeps skin from drying out. The higher the fan speed the more it engages, AC has to be on. Also detects bad outside smells and gasoline/exhaust, and automatically changes air intake from outside to circulation. Its a neat system.

 

Here's the part number, B7277-1CA1B. It fits all G's, even though it says it's for the tech package only. It has some extra stuff in the filter that deals with allergies and such. Here's what I use,
