LOL, you guys are tripping over one another with the same problem.

I'm using a HPS coupler at the TB. Specifically a 4" x 70mm coupler that I cut in half, one for each side.

Here's an old pic. Does mine look thicker than yours? Do you get that question a lot?

Mine's pretty soft too, but that could just be due to the age of it. LOL

Yeah, Andy, that's what I'm worried about with the smaller clamps... that I won't be able to catch enough of the threads to get a nice tight and secure connection. Plus, my couplers are molded reducers (2-3/4" down to 2-1/2"
) from GTM, so I can't just swap them out for another type.

One of my more childish moments that will contribute absolutely nothing of value to this thread

Needless to say, I need you all to figure it out before I go wasting time and money on the incorrect clamps. Thanks

Comedic gold here on this page.

Anyway, Rochester- did you end up getting a Skyline badge for your trunk? The place with the kick plates also has Nissan badges for the trunk and front grill. (I know you are planning to keep the Fuji, but I am such a damn perfectionist.) I am just waiting to hear back if they have any Nissan or Skyline floor mats or a horn cover for the steering wheel.
