Anyone know how I can add more neg front camber?
had to add a 15mm spacer to clear akebonos and now the 275 40 is sticking out alot. Ive ordered a 12mm which should bring it in 3mm from here but i still need neg camber.
effective offset is now 23. With the 12mm effective offset will be 26mm.
I think the only way to do it at the front is adjustable upper control arms...lots of options SPC, SPL, Z1, Kintex
thanks mate. Was afraid of that. Looks like i will no longer be squared.
with coils on the way and a plan to lower an inch ill need a bit of a stretch tire. Booooo
Nooooo! you were living my dream of the 275 squared...lol, I get it though....
sorry I thought you were already lowered though...if you go to coils you will introduce some additional negative camber naturally at any ride height lower than you are currently, but you wont have control over it relative to the ride height without the adjustable upper control arms i ncase its not where you want it to be...if you're getting coils you may want to see if its enough to do the job before swapping the tires..

thanks man. So i thought of that. I am on springs and didnt plan on coils but wife suprised me for Bday. Because of the akebono i needed a spacer which threw a wrench in the plans. I bought tires to have on hand as im sure the 3mm difference would be minimal and some stretch will be needed even with the additional neg camber brought by lowering one inch. Will however give it a shot and leave the squared setup and test with the coils will update soon. For now heres what could have been
Ok so not sure where i went wrong measuring but it definitely looks like i have room for a 10mm spacer what say you? Currently on 12mm spacer. It looks so much better with the 12 vs 15mm.
im going to hold off on the smaller tire for now as i may buy a 10mm spacer and try it. Although i tried a bolt on 10mm and less than a fingernail clearance. Perhaps not all 10mm created equal.
This is my current square setup on my coupe:
Akebono brakes
Eibach Pro Kit springs
19x8.5 factory sport wheels
+43 - 20mm spacers = +23 offset
225/45/19 tires
I'm very interested in the following setup:
20x9.5 Konig Oversteer
+25 (no spacers)
255/35/20
Here are the results from will they fit comparing both setups above. Can anyone advise if I'll have any issues with this? I'm thinking the offset for the new set up might be a little too low. I don't want to roll fenders or trim liner.
Appreciate any and all help and advice! Thank you!
Below is a willtheyfit comparison to Twisted's setup (orange) from above. His 275/35/20 on 20x9.5+30 setup rubs the liner a little, which I don't mind.
You should be fine with that setup, only reason my rears rub is I have a 5mm spacer on +35's on the rear Without the spacer they would be fine. I only run the spacer for more flush look.
G37x sedan 2012 Would this fit and not rub 19x9.5 ET40 square on 255 40 19square
I have a G37x Sedan 2012.... trying to purchase some rims and tires and need assistance on the setup. Looking at 19x9.5 ET40 square, on 255x40x19 square. Would this fit okay and any rub issues? Also thinking about lowering on eibachs in the future?
