Looking for a concave square setup that is still a decent daily driver
Hey guys,
I am looking for a square setup that has a decent concave look for my 2013 G37XS. I really like the staggered setup with wider wheels/tires but I live in Canada where the roads are not the best and I want the practicality of running the square setup (being able to rotate tires). I have a set of OEM 18" wheels and winter tires so I am not worried about using the new setup in the winter, I am looking for a summer setup. I have seen lots of posts of guys running 9.5, 10, and 10.5 wide wheels but I don't plan on lowering the car anytime soon or rolling fenders etc. I am thinking 19x9.5 for my purposes with a 20 or 25mm offset to get the concave look but I am worried that the 19 inch wheel will not be large enough, aestically. I think the 20s might be too large and might rub and I don't want that. Any suggestions? I like Vossen but I may go with Niche for budget purposes.

I'm running OEM Nismo 370z wheels all squared 19x10.5 +23 on 255/35 tires.
Lowered on air suspension. Slight pulling of fenders in rear to clear on air out. No spacers. However I'm RWD.
I like what you ha e done and I would do something similar but I need something that I could drive daily without putting on airbags. Good to know the 19x 9.5 so what fits. Gives me hope that 19x9 will fit without pulling fenders
That looks great Gavin. No fender rolling required?
No fender rolling but the front is easy to roll if you want since it's already at a 45 degree angle and the rear can easily fit a 275. If I get bored some day I'll make an 8mm spacer for the rear at work just to bring it flush but it's fine really. I found a piece of 7" Al barstock the other day that would be perfect.
The smaller wheels w/ wide sticky tires have helped the car so much. It's been 2 months and great so far. I'm glad I didn't spend money trying to fix my 19's.
2008 G37s coupe on Tein s tech lowering springs, Linea corse lc818 wheels, 19x10 square set up with 245/40 tires, and +38 offset. How does it look? I noticed less scraping in the front because of the wider front wheels compared to stock. These wheels cleared the akembo breaks no problem and no rubbing
