So a 255/40/19 FTW!
Thanks blnewt! I ordered the 19x9.5 +35 konig ampliform in bronze with the tire set up you posted.
FYI the konig 19x9.5 +35 clears the bbk according to Konig and Fitment industry.

Square help

I'm looking at TSW Geneva's 20x9.5 +35. With 275/30/20 tires. Excellent price, but concerned they won't fit the front of the car. I have a g37s coupe lowered on eibach springs

You should be able to run that. My summer setup is 18x9.5 with 275/40 all around. I have the x-coupe lowered on swift springs. I still have about 10mm of clearance on the inside edge.

18x9.5 +38 275 40 18
two tires are late so only have the rear axle done. Fitment is great. No rubbing out back. Not sure upfront but suspect its fine.

test fit on front but didnt drop it as the other side was on jack stands.

but rear is on

So I just spent the better part of the last hour scrolling through this thread (at work...ha) so don't accuse the newbie of not doing his research. I just got a nice deal on a 2013 G37 Sport Sedan currently all stock. It's going to be my new daily driver so probably the only upgrade I'm going to do is wheels. I really wanted to go with a square setup 19x9.5" all the way around with some 255 or 265's. Is that possible without spacers or extending lugnuts or anything like this? Because all the car wheel websites only give me "guaranteed fit" on the front for 19x8.5"s. Also if you want to point me towards some popular wheel brands (besides vossen as I'm trying to keep the budget under $500/wheel).

You can run 19x9.5 +40 on 255/40/19 tires, just need to confirm clearance for the big sport brakes.

Hey Brian,
I have a sport sedan as well, 2011, AWD though so baby brakes. I have 19x8.5 +35 all around with 265/40/19. I can see a little evidence of rubbing from when I had p zeros in the back but with indy 500s (skinnier tire even at 265) I have no issues. No spacers/extended lugs/etc. Hope that helps.

Thanks. That sounds like exactly what I wanted to do. So is the key confirming clearance for sport brakes with the wheel manufacturer? In other words, just because it's a 19x9.5 +40 doesn't guarantee brake clearance. Some wheels might and others might not type thing?

Camber settings and ride height play a key role in fitment and avoiding rubbing issues as well.

Check with either the wheel manufacturer or the vendor, and send them a brake template if they don't already have (can be found here: https://conceptzperformance.com/imag...nttemplate.pdf).

Offset doesn't necessarily guarantee clearance as the design of the spokes matters just as much. I've had a +38 clear while a +27 did not.

I’m looking at a few wheel options and wondering between these three brands if there is a significant difference in quality: Velgen, Niche, XO?

They each have a wheel style i like so quality might be a deciding factor. Although Velgen’s have an edge because rhey make a 19x9 that i think will go perfect with 255 tires (as opposed to 8.5”=245 or 9.5”=265.

I'd look at Rotary Forged aka Flow Formed sets, these are lighter and stronger than cell cast and typically don't cost too much more than cell cast wheels. TSW & Konig are good choices on a budget, for a bit more Wedsport, Work Emotion, and SSR GTV line are good choices. These are a decent upgrade from teh ones you listed and should have some styles you'd like. I run Wedsport 18s that have good brake clearance and are under 20 lbs.

This is my current square setup on my coupe:
Akebono brakes
Eibach Pro Kit springs
19x8.5 factory sport wheels
+43 - 20mm spacers = +23 offset
225/45/19 tires

I'm very interested in the following setup:
20x9.5 Konig Oversteer
+25 (no spacers)
255/35/20

Here are the results from will they fit comparing both setups above. Can anyone advise if I'll have any issues with this? I'm thinking the offset for the new set up might be a little too low. I don't want to roll fenders or trim liner.

Appreciate any and all help and advice! Thank you!

Below is a willtheyfit comparison to Twisted's setup (orange) from above. His 275/35/20 on 20x9.5+30 setup rubs the liner a little, which I don't mind.
