Yeah, I'd hold off until you get some time on them at least 500 miles, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised
Well, I finally took a break from working on the house and got the new wheels and tires bolted up and put 1,000 miles on them. (245/40 on 19x8.5 w/ 45 offset) Going from 225/50-18 with 2/32 tread to 245/40-19 with 10/32 tread didn't have an obnoxious effect on ride quality, but it's noticeable over broken road. I'm a little leery of how the comfort will deteriorate once I start chewing through the tread depth, as I definitely noticed a difference as I wore through the 225/50's.
I definitely like the way that the wheels turned out, but next time I'll be going for either 255/40's or 245/45's. I'd take a hit in the acceleration dept, but I think I'd lean towards the 245/45's if they'd clear . . . an extra 0.48" in radius is pretty substantial, however. I wonder if anyone has ever tried it.
I saw a great deal on a set of Vossen wheels. I have a 13’ g37x and was curious if the 20x9.5 with a 35mm offset would work?? This would be the first time putting wheels on a vehicle and I haven’t came across anyone on this thread with that same square setup, any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Coupe or sedan? Sedan will be flush (w/ some poke if you're not lowered) running 255/35/20s all around, coupe will be able to run more tire for a flush fit, up to a 275/30/20 all around.

it is a sedan! I do plan on throwing some coilovers on it as well. Any tire suggestions for that wheel size? Thanks for the reply
Gotta 2013 G37X sedan running the OEM Enkei 18x8 wheels with +43 offset. Tires are 225/50/18 Have some Swift springs on order. I've read quite a bit through this thread. Best I can tell, 20mm spacers up front with 15mm spacers in the rear is the way to go? Looking to be close to flush with the fender. Not too aggressive. Thanks for the help in advance.

Reason: Add info
That will be close to what I'm at w/ my 9.5 set in the above links (post #1028), the 20mm spacer in front would be 4mm in from mine, and the 15mm would be 9mm in from mine out back.

I assume you have a sedan.
So the question that I have is in regards to the rear. You mention that I will be 9mm in out back. When I measure fender to lip of wheel today the rear are closer to the edge of the fender than the front hence my idea of running 15mm spacer out rear and 20mm out front. Is it because when I lower the car the rear wheels will get pulled in that I probably need to go with 20mm all around to be squared? Apologies for my ignorance. I am a 43 year old man who just picked up his first import.

I was just referring to my setup and what to expect if you added 5mm less spacing in back. The actual wheel edge in front has a little less room to go out since the fender isn't flat-rolled like the rear. To be honest what I would do is get 1 pair of 20mm spacers, put one in front and one in rear and see how you like the fit, if you feel you need 5mm less in back (or in front) you then get another pair in 15mm, if you happen to like all 20mm then get another pair of 20mm, that's what I'd do
Hello guys. I have 2010 g37x sedan and I’m planning on purchasing the Konig ampliform 19x9.5 +35. What’s the best tire set up for a flush fit? A mild drop on coilovers is in the near future.
thank you.

Here's mine on 18x9.5 +38 on 245s, you would be 3mm further out on the wheel (so almost the same as my set) and there would be room to run 255s all around, if you go wider to a 265 the front fender edge may make contact on the inside under heavy compression since it isn't fully rolled like the rear fender is. https://www.myg37.com/forums/18/2765...ml#post4044919
So a 255/40/19 FTW!
