I had a part number fpr an ob rear aero ( without holes )but told it is the same as a bumper with sensor holes so it is a crap shoot whether you get a bumper with or without and its a non returnable item. This sounds like a stupid move on infiniti's part because what if a bodyshop needs to order a bumper with holes and the dealership orders a bumper and it comes without. Drill? Ridiculous.

 

Thanks man, I've heard that the ones without holes come pre cut on the inside from nissan. Thinking of ordering some backup sensors off amazon but not sure which one would fit...

 

I am really close to pulling the trigger on an IPL bumper for my 2008 non-sport but i dont know what i really need... I plan on installing non functional fog lights just to fill the hole so do i still need a 2011 fluid tank?

 

i just put mines on 2 weeks ago... yes u need change fluid take to a slim one....buy the fog lamps and thats all...its a direct fit

Back when this thread was started the IPL bumper painted was $280. Now it's $1500 from orderinfinitiparts and $1000 from Swell. Am I missing something?
I've read a post about the old price being a mistake but how is it gone up to $1500.

 

Old pricing may or may not have been a mistake but it appears that overtime Infiniti noticed how many bumpers were being sold and raised the prices up. Now, unfortunately for those that didn't get in on it earlier, the prices for all the bumpers are up at the 1000/1500 mark.

 

It was just matter of time, even the 283 price was definitely a steal. Not even taking it to the worst body shop you could cover buying the bumper and painting for 283. Thumbs to everyone who bought back in the good old days including me...but the 283 days are long gone :/

 

Just curious for those who have done the aero/ipl bumper swamp in Canada and did the fog lights as well, but upgraded the fogs to h.i.d. how did you setup your lights? Did you leave the DRL as the fog light in the main headlight and do some wiring magic so that HID fog lights would turn on when you turn them on at the steering column switch?

Guys, I need some help. I am having some problems my ICC laser console unit in the front of the car (Intelligent cruise control). I have the 2010 Limited Edition aero bumper (with faux vents, no fog light hole) on a 6MT 2009 G37S coupe. You probably have a faulty ICC. I have it also on my G with the IPL bumper never had a problem. I don't use it tho but if want to use it works just fine.
