I knew from day one that the pricing had to be an error in the database. There's no way a factory painted Aero/IPL front fascia with lower grilles be the same price as a bare Journey or Sport bumper. I'm not shocked by the expensive MSRP at all. I knew Nissan/Infiniti would catch on sooner or later because the OB and MW bumpers were selling like crazy. It's only a matter of time until the remaining colors are marked up.

I highly suggest anyone out there still interested pick up a K52, K23 or A54 bumper and get it painted to match. It's still half the price of an actual IPL bumper after everything is said and done.

 

Yup... absolutely correct!!! as soon as Gville37 posted the marked up prices, i had to jump on the remaining once for the awesome price since i have to repaint it to match IP anyway... therefore, color didnt matter on the left over ones... was going to upgrade up front anyway, so why not go OEM and 100% fitment... anything else would not be OEM and would have to paint as well... so Aero Kit FTW!!! Thanks Gville for the heads up and P Casey for starting the trend!!!

So now im just waiting to get my Aero front and sides painted to match IP...
was trying to deal with 3 different vendors/dealers but they couldnt out match James at OC Infiniti... hella deal plus top notch body and paintshop has been chosen for the paint job... James is making arrangements with shop to fit my busy weekdays schedule for an appointment on a Saturday, wish is a non workday for the shop to make things possible... this i think is awesome!!!

Just wish all this would be possible to complete before Import Tuner Magazine on Saturday... but it wont be happen before...

 

no problem. i was just surfing the net and checked the site and BAM...price increase. it was 1130pm or so when i saw that...i instantly pmd PCasey...i wanted to send a blast email to every forum member as soon as i saw that haha. I couldnt sleep that night because literally 5 days earlier I had bought mine at 283..felt lucky with that one.

 

Incredible! Why didn't I see this earlier, bumper would have gone great with my Vossen's I just ordered.

 

Might scoop up one of the other colors. Damn why didn't I come across this thread earlier, so these bumpers come with foglight hardware... Like does that mean the foglights themselves?

hey Boosa37, how are those sentra fogs holding up?? were they a perfect fit?? deciding if i should go with these or pick up the 2011 coupe fogs at the dealer...

I have them and they are a perfect fit.
As I stated, I compared them to the factory fogs on my wife's EX35, and there is NO difference.

Can any of you sell me on the rear Aero bumper please?? I thought I hated it at first, but now I feel I need the "full" Aero kit to pull it all together. I currently have the front Aero and side sills. How do you all feel about the rear? Is it worth the $1k? Yay or Nay?

Also, to confirm...what is the price everybody is paying for the Rear Aero? I understand that the rear did not experience a price increase... Just the front correct?

I really regret not buying 2 front Aero bumpers for $283. One I have now is starting to gain some chips due to highway driving. Man had I known in hindsight I would have bought 2!! Least I grabbed 1 tho before that crazy hike in price.

get the front bumper but in different color and then get it painted youll still be saving +500 even after painting VS buying a new one KH3 @ 1500
