IPL/Aerodynamic Bumper Swap Idea.
has anyone tried to order the rear aero bumper prepainted with holes lately? I've checked a few dealers and they are not able to get the bumper with holes. I've read many posts from last year and previous where people wanted rear bumpers without holes but received bumpers with holes and now that i need a bumper with holes they are impossible to get brand new.
Last I heard infiniti was only shipping rear bumpers with holes instead of without which is totally backwards in my opinion. It's cheaper to add holes and sensors for a customer than it is to fill holes for those without backup sensors and refuse to put in plugs.
exactly, its not like they are made from the factory with the holes. So instead of drilling the holes before distributing them just throw a template in the box and lessen the headache
How's it going guys? I wanted to swap out my base 2012 G37S complete stock bumper kit for the IPL bumper kit. I read people purchasing them pre-painted. I want to know if i can get the part number for the IPL front, rear and side skirt from the dealership and just paint it at a paint shop. I'm assuming that would be cheaper. Please give any advice if you have any thank you.
Listen guys before everyone freaks out because i didn't read all 120 pages of this thread, please just give me a simple answer.
Im buying the Infiniti 2011 IPL bumper directly from Infiniti for 2020$, lower grills all included, sadly no fogs. I Have a 2008 G37s Coupe with the Tech Package. (I read about the ICC so don't get into that).
Will the IPL bumper be a direct fit onto my car? IF NOT what parts need to be replaced/ purchased in order to get it to fit. Need to know ASAP car is already in shop from an accident...

I jumped on the IPL bandwagon this weekend. I have the Injen cold air intake, and the washer bottle will not fit with this intake. Washers don't work, so fog lights won out. Mine are LEDs wired to the fuse box in the battery, through a fuse and relay tripped by the integrated fogs. I ordered new upper side bumper supports from Rockauto; I'd recommend anyone with an older model like mine (2008) to get these. They are plastic and very brittle. This should get a ton more air to the radiator on the road course over the base/journey bumper mask.
The grill is so badly chipped I can't bring myself to put it back on. Any problems driving without it and the upper support panel for a week or two until I get a new grill painted? Other than rocks and the radiator.

I have a Liquid Platinum 2010 G37S and I want to swap out the front bumper for an IPL or Aero style. Is there anything I would need to get besides the bumper itself or is it a pretty straightforward swap out? Also, can anyone tell me the best place to get this style of bumper? I would prefer to have one without the fog light cutouts since I don't plan on running fog lights with it, but that's not a deal breaker. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
