19 inch rims on AWD
19 inch rims on AWD
I have a 09 AWD with stock 18s. I found a totaled G37 with 19s on it that are staggered. I was wondering if I can run those 19s on my car. I read a lot about this on these forums but could not find a proper answer. A lot of people said buy 4 fronts.
I was thinking of buying the two rears instead from that car and buying 2 more rears from elsewhere.
Will this work?? Would the rears fit in the front?

There has been some argument back and forth on this. Some say yeah it's ok within 3% of diameter or something like that, while others say no way don't do it. Can't really recommend what to do only can say that I am running a square set up to play it safe.
Also, not sure what size rears? I'm running 20x9, 245 all around. Good fitment with eibach drop.

There is a lot of misinformation on the staggered set-up with AWD. Call me and I will fill you in on this. I have 19-inch sport rims on my G37xS.

The problem with using staggered wheels on an X Coupe is that you can't rotate them, so they will wear at different rate. With significant wear difference, it's not hard to get outside that 3% window.
Last year, I was considering buying two sets of sport wheels and making two square sets if I could find someone to go in on the plan with me, but in the end I decided it was too much of a hassle, and bought a square set of TSW wheels.

Yup I'm running a staggered setup on my X with no issues. Like everyone said just keep your rolling diameters the same and you'll be all good. 245/35 and 285/30 tire sizes are recommended.
