Where to get 5 inch tips?

Hi everyone,

I'm doing a few changes to my exhaust on my IPL and wanted to get 5 inch exhaust tips so I won't have to remove the ones from the stock exhaust. I'd prefer spending under 75 for a pair and wanted some suggestions.

Thanks!

5" tips!? Are you serious? Those are huge and I think might look silly...just my opinion though. Most exhaust shops have tips lying around...check with them

Here's my sedan w/ 4.5" tips, I think Vossen had one of their cars w/ 5" tips on a GTHaus exhaust, actually looked really good since the G was already pretty aggressive. Here's that thread but the pics aren't working

Here's a post of them on a 370z

And my 4.5" (on my Topspeed exhaust, same size as Tanabae Medallions IIRC)

Wow that looks great. I'm guessing that means IPL tips are 4.5 not 5?

Not sure about the IPLs, maybe post a thread "How big are the exhaust tips on an IPL?"

After seeing the 4.5....5 might not be that bad. The idea of a 5" tips just sounds so outrageous! LoL

My thought was the same until seeing that picture. I thought 5"would look like an aftermarket diesel truck exhaust coming out from under the bumper.

So would anyone know the size of IPL tips. I'll start another thread if necessary but I don't want to clog up this forum

Hope this will give you an idea how 5 inch tips look on IPL rear. These tips are 130mm which are equivalent to 5.11 inches..

Here the Tanabe 4.5 inch tips

Exactly where my head was at! Glad I wasn't the only one. But I agree...it actually looks pretty good

Not sure if it's the same tip setup but you might look into the Sport muffler coupe accessory upgrade. It's just the muffler w/ nice tips.
