20x9 5X114.3 +32/+20

20x10 5X114.3 +35

20x10.5 5X114.3 +45/+27

The Stance guy was concerned about the 20X10.5 fitting on the back. So my plan was to go with 20X9 +32 on the fronts with 255 35 20s and 20X10 +35 in the rear with 285 30 20s... Could I go any bigger without weird camber or fender problems? If I want them to look more concave...Can the 20X9 +20 fit?
I'd stick to your plan or run the 10.5+45 in back and run up to 295s but might need a small spacer to flush it up.

What I should have said

What I should have said is that what I was trying to go for is maximum concavity of both rim sizes. So I'd like to run the 20x9 +20 in the front if I can get away with it, because it will look more concave than the +32 right? Additionally, I got mixed feedback about whether the 20 x 10 +35 would look more concave than the 20x10.5 +45. I was thinking +35 would look more concave, but then I saw that post about the tires'n'rims calculator not appropriately accounting for the added width of the rims... So at most off by 1/4", which is ~6.3mm, maybe that makes them pretty darn close to the same. Can I put a 285 on a 10.5" rim? You think I can squeak a 295 in there at 10.5" +45? Will that 10.5" +45 clear on the inside side? Element wheels says it will fit...

Often times, rims have ~3 faces or "disks" as some wheel companies (like Work) calls them. Each face has different concavity because each has different brake clearance. Each face also has a set of different widths and offsets. You shouldn't be looking at just the width and offset, but rather the face as well. Especially if you have BBK. This mostly applies to multi-piece wheels.

For monoblocks, yes combination of width, offset, and even face are factors. But it varies from company to company. I'd ask the company for a for sure answer.

some Help on this new setup

Sup fellas. Ive been lurking these boards for quiet some time and Im looking for some help with my new step.

Currently I'm running 20" inch wheels all the way around. 20x9 and 20x10.5 Volk GT30. Offset is +37F and +35rear on a 225/35/20 and a 245/30/20. I want to take a moment to let you guys know HOW TIRED I AM OF STRETCHED TIRES!!!!!! so on that note I'm looking to join the fatties.

Heres where my dilemma is... I have seen way to many good looking cars here and want to jump in the ranks. I am trying to pick between 19s and 20s.

I dont want to name members since I don know how they feel about being tagged although these guys have some flawless cars.

In 19s i have come up with a few different fitments.

19x10 +22 all around with 255/35/19 and 265/30/19 based off willtheyfit.com these 2 tire sizes are the same.

then there is 19x9 +35 and a 19x10 +22 (recommended by a wheel/tire rep on our boards) my only thing is don't these seem kind of weak?

In Regards to 20's there are 20X9.0 +35 Front and 20X10.5 +28 to achieve no spacers(from my research +25 and up should be safe to fit on a G with a 10.5 inch wheel in the rear) Tires 265/30/20 and 285/30/20

My ideal is to go 19 to protect the rim and still have a nice fat tire on that that looks aggressive with zero wheel gap. I dont want aggressive to the point where I need crazy camber but just something subtle and nice that as an older fella I can fit in any environment. As though I am not opposed to 20's its just that I daily drive my car looking to make things a tad bit easier. BUT IM NOT RULING 20's out the line up!

Ive been trying to find out why there are barely ppl rocking the 19x9.5 or 19x10 and 19x11 setups? If it was possible to fit it comfortably or with a little work I wouldn't mind. Im not opposed to a roll/minor pull "natural pull" to fit the wheels of my desire.

Currently I have my eyes on Forgestar F14 bronze burst on a Ivory White G37. Any input from you more experience guys would be great.DOMO

Ok, so I talked to stance. They said 10" and 10.5" have the same face, and all 9" rims have the same face. So I went 20x9"+32 front with 255 35 20 tires, and a 20x10" +35 rear with 285 30 20s got the slate finish.

Check Lt8Che's coupe in this post, they're 18s but the same general offsets & tire widths will play. Love the aggressive squared setup and the stance is proper IMO.

Well welcome to the dark side The fat tire club is much cooler than the stretched fitment crowd.

First off, is your car a coupe or sedan? Im guessing by your current wheel specs and the fact that you're asking about 11" wide rears that it is a coupe. If having "fat" tires is your main concern then I like the 2nd setup much better than the first. 265s are not considered fat around here.

I think this is the absolute perfect fitment and size for the coupes: 20X9.0 +35 Front and 20X10.5 +28 And its even sitting on Forgestar F14s

I would rather have a customer pick a wheel with the proper fitment from the start then have to make it fit with spacers. Forgestar offers an unlimited number of offsets and have a pretty wide variety of finishes available at no extra charge. Hope this helps answer any questions you have and feel free to message me if you have any other questions.

Nice reply
That fit w/ the Forgestars is about as good as it gets for a staggered coupe setup, and 285s will get you in the front door of our club

Ouch! What tires are you running, and what did you ride over?

^ Hankook Evo2 tires for now because they are the cheapest at the moment. I'm so glad I didn't get the PSS yet - plan to get those when power is added. I have no idea what I ran over, I was going 20mph in a school zone after dropping my kids off and switched lanes over something apparently. Car started running funny so I stopped in the nearest parking lot.

Apparently no Discount Tire or NTB in Houston stocks 295/30/19 so I had to get a new one ordered. Luckily my friend's shop that mounted the tires hadn't recycled their used tire inventory yet and still had my old tire in a stack so I wouldn't have to limp around on the spare.

What a bummer! Glad you have access to a spare that you can use until the new one shows up.
