G37 OEM wheel & Tires (Specifications) *For Reference*
With the 255/40 there won't be any issues other than a slight speedometer error. The 255/35s are getting close to 3% difference and may cause issues w/ some other items like ABS and traction control but that's only what I've read, nothing I've seen firsthand so
The Z guys switch to smaller diameter track tires for track duty and don't report issues, so there's that
If I were in your spot I'd run the 255/40s just to be sure.

The speedometer in my S sedan is 7% fast from the factory (I assume yours is too). I went from 245/45-18 to 255/45-18 in the back to gain a bit more rubber and to reduce the error to 5%. Makes the math easier when determining how much over posted limit I go. I can go an indicated 50 in a 45 zone and know I'm only 2 mph over and safe from tickets.
I have not checked the accuracy of the odometer.

what is the offset for the 19" factory wheels on an xS (AWD) coupe?
first post lists specs for S coupe with different widths and offsets for front and rear, but i think the AWD Sport model's fronts and rears are the same.
8.5" width on both, but not sure if offsets are the same or different front and rear. ???

according to this website: 2013 g37s coupe wheels are wrong above:
Infiniti G 2013 - Wheel & Tire Sizes, PCD, Offset and Rims specs - Wheel-Size.com
and are smaller wheels:
225/45ZR19 94W
245/40ZR19
8Jx19 ET45
8.5Jx19 ET50 5x114.3 M12 x 1.25 66.1 2.1
I want to make sure I am fitting the correct wheels, can someone help? In fact tirerack.com just told me 275/35 are too 'short' and not recommended.

245/40 & 275/35 combo all day long, no issues. MANY members using those with good luck. At the time there we not many 245/285 matching tire combos on the market, thus the reason a 275 was next best thing and just happened to work well. Now the options have become more plentiful in both combinations, but many still run the more conservative 275's for touch more clearance and price (in some cases).
ok guys, HELP ME DECIDE:
oem size michelin pilot ss or
245/275 (larger) continental extreme dw (still less expensive then oem michelin)
I am an average driver on california roads, I like to take corners a bit fast, nothing else crazy. I have eibach sway/roll bar combo all else stock (and back ceramic brakes).
I dont want to lose speed off the line or screw with my suspension etc.
