225/45 19" and 245/40 19" don't have the same circumference. Is that not creating problems with four wheel drive?

Thanks!
The difference in diameter front to back is less than 1% (it's -.96%) so there won't be issues w/ the AWD. Issues have been reported when there's more than 1% diameter difference at speeds over 80mph.
If you get those wheels and want a better size combo you can run 225/45/19F and 255/40/19 Rear for a .22% variance or 245/40/19F &
275/35/19 Rear for a -.52% variance.
This calculator is handy for working out different setups

Thanks! I don't necessarily need to go for those specific wheels (I probably wont), but I want 19" and figured going for the OEM sizes should guarantee that they fit. The combination of 225 and 255 sounds good. Strange that the OEM sizes have larger difference than this combo, but thanks a lot for the help!

My question is simple and specific, and I am hoping that it will help others here as well.
I have a 2008 coupe with the 19's
I want to keep my rims.
I want to use spacers to have my wheels more flush with the fenders.
I want a tire that will last for about 15k to 20k miles of spirited driving.
I will most likely not "lower" my until necessary.
Question(s):
What size spacers do I need (and any brand recommendations?
what is the best size to go with for fronts/rears (Tires) and are there a "preferred" tire for mostly warm weather (ranging from 40 to 95 annually)

Thanks in advance.

I assume you have the staggered 19s, if so you can run 245/40/19 front 275/35/19 rear, about the most common stagger setup. Or you can just run the 245s on all fours, the 1/2" stagger won't really be noticeable on the mount. For tires, if budget isn't a huge concern go all out with Michelin Pilot Super Sports, easier on the wallet but still excellent dry & wet grip are Toyo Proxes T1Sports, Andrew @ treadepot will get you a nice deal if you mention myg37.com
TreadDepot.com: Toyo Proxes T1 Sport Tires
As far as spacers, I'd just wait until you get the tires and then decide how much you need. Here's a good clip on spacer sizing

I'll be glad to post the information for other OEM wheels in the first post if you have it accurate and complete. PM it to me. Or post it here and I'll update the first post to add it.

Hi Newbie Here!

Question? I have stock wheels F 225/45/19 R 245/40/19. Can I put the rear wheels in front and just buy 275/35/19 for the rear? Will this setup still give it a smooth ride? TY in advance ...

I believe you mean the rear tires on the front wheels and the wider tires on the rear wheels. Yes you can. It won't make the ride any smoother though. In fact, you'd be changing to a shorter and stiffer side walled tire on both front and rear which will make the ride a little stiffer.

20" wheels will give a noticeably harsher ride and will require shorter (35/30) even stiffer sidewalks than 19" wheels. Throw ride comfort out of the window if you go up in wheel size, at lease compared to the OEM wheels and tires.

Revolution per mile numbers are close but I am concerned about the possibility of rubbing. Any advice would be appreciated.

2009 Black G37x premium package 7at
I searched this whole thread, and the quoted post above from page 3 is the only reference to the tire size I have (225/55R17), which is a '13 G37X Sedan. Should I be worried I didn't see it in the OP's reference post?

In any case, my stock Goodyears have dry-rot on them, and so consequently I need new tires. I'm in Colorado where we get a lot of snow, so it would need to be an all-season tire but one that handles well, too....any recommendations on a performance all-season tire? The Infiniti dealer kept recommending some brands I haven't heard of too much like Kumho and Continental. I'm assuming Michelins are the best brand for performance all-season, like for instance the Pilot Sport A/S 3?
