I didn't read this thread because it seemed pointless but I just want to correct/share my three golden rules. If you live and mod by this YOU will enjoy whatever you drive more.

Rule #1: There is no replacement for displacement. Yes, force induction adds displacement but remember that when you start with a larger displacement engine you're adding more to it.

Rule #2: Cheap, fast, reliable… Pick TWO! You will never have all three. You can build a fast car cheaply and it won't be reliable. You can build a reliable, fast car but it won't be cheap. Or build a cheap car reliable, but it won't be fast.

Rule #3: This one is the hardest for many to accept. There is ALWAYS someone faster. I learned this after dropping thousands and thousands of dollars into my '03 350Z and having a ride along in my buddy's '09 ACR Viper at TWS where he is a driving instructor. Worst part is after realizing this during the ride along we got out and he mentioned he was 8-10 seconds off his normal pace due to heavy traffic.
