FI Resonated Test Pipes~feedback?

Talked w/ Lance (1cleanG) about the Fast Intentions Resonated TPs, and said the ones listed for the coupe will fit the sedan and can be ordered w/ 2.25ID (recommended for sedan) or the 2.5 ID pipes. Tried a search and found barely anything as far as installed on a G. A bit more info on Zs but still not much.
Anyone out there running these or have a helpful link or two? Sounds like a good option for a bit more gain and hopefully won't degrade the exhaust note.
Here's the product link
Fast Intentions
And FWIW these will probably be mated to a Megan Racing Y pipe w/ 2.5" inlets, so I may go w/ the 2.5 ID version for a better match at the TP outlet.

My buddy not on this forum has this setup. Gained a bit of rasp over his stillen HFC. If I were trying to do my best to reduce rasp, I'd go with a hemholtz type respirator like in the ARK or motordyne.

If I recall, I think he picked up 4 whp over the HFC tuned.

Thanks MaQ, Was hoping to avoid rasp, if it's minimal that would be ok for the gains, and around $350 that's about all I can budget for right now as the ART pipes are about $650.

These FI RTPs have been around for awhile, surprised there's not more info floating around.

They're more common with the Z guys . You see them pop up here and there on the Z classifieds. There have been a few ART pipes used going for $450 . That's what I am waiting for to get my ART pipes or go with ARK which are about $493 new. Although, if you're 7AT, you can't run the ARK test pipes. I have an e-mail somewhere from ARK stating their resonator design is superior to Motordyne.

With the test pipes, don't you get the exhaust smell/sulfur smell?

And won't they cause you to fail an emissions test?

Here in New Mexico they don't have any vehicle tests, inspections~still the wild wild west out here.
I've been in vehicles w/ TPs and the smell isn't too bad, at least in my experience, I would definitely not consider them if I was driving in stop & go & gridlock traffic on a regular basis, but not the case luckily.

I ran gutted Cats in my Max. The smell was something awful. I can't imagine backing my car into the garage now with no cats in the G.
