GT lets you adjust downforce with it's aero kits, so that's just ignorant to try and use that AGAINST FM 1 or 2, every GT I've played lets you adjust downforce if you have the right set up.

So let me get this straight..... painting your car makes you rice? Everyone on G35driver that has any kind of custom paint job is rice? To paint your roof black or have a carbon trunk/hood is rice? Just because someone wants a custom paint job doesn't immediately equal a riced car. It just means you're ignorantly trying to hate on Forza for simulating what a lot of people do in real life, or wish they had the money to do. And even if it is extreme or rice, so what, it's their cars and it's what they like. If you don't want to repaint your car, you're not forced to. It's just an option to... like in real life... which GT doesn't permit.

nope, if i were a fanboy, id have the hardware. Im a PC fanboy by trade and hobby. I dont own either system nor do I plan on it. I just like ******* around with ppl!! Either way though, I do think custom paint jobs are a waste in both real life and a game. It's almost like cyber sex...you aint gettin any, but your tricking urself into thinking your a pimp lol. FM2 is better to be compared to Need for speed underground. It's a ricers haven. GT is much more classy and refined. It's like driving a aston martin or driving a corvette z06. Sure the z06 might spank the aston, but the aston martin is just a better car. Better to compare apples to apples, oranges to oranges. I think need for speed underground and Forza are better to be compared.

 

So you don't have either system, and admit to being a PC fanboy. There by making all of your points now mute. And to say FM2 is like NFS just proves you know absolutely nothing about what FM2 is or has to offer.

If they were the exact same game and shared all of the same aspects then you can compare exactly which one is better. so the pissing contest really needs to stop. this is starting to become like the john vs. ken rivalry of who's car is faster. pointless (ie. both drive g35s who cares who's car is faster...no point) so lets just drop it and all the nerds/geeks who are 25+ and still play video games can have a constructive conversation about the Forza Motorsport 2.

are you going for LCD or Plasma? (Id say forget plasma imho) If you really want a great LCD, Id go with either Samsung or Sony. I have been eyeing both and decided to go with the Samsung. The sony picture quality is amazing, but the models I have been looking at have had many reports of "clouding", and once that happens, there is no reversal for it.

To be honest though, any of those brands you mentioned will have a really nice picture though.

 

It doesnt really matter what you get, cuz they will all break in about 3-4 yrs anyway. TV's dont last like the old ones that still sit in your grandma's house

I look for a balance in quality and longevity and imho, I would get a samsung. They just came out w/ the worlds first LED 1080p TV. (which is sitting in my Man cave back home). This TV has no bulbs to change and no colorwheel to worry about either. The warranty wasnt that expensive either. and according to samsung, it is suppose to last about 8-10 yrs (twice longer than your traditional DLP/LCD TV).
