hi, i am planning to change my g37 sedan exhaust and ive been doing researches about it. Ive seen and hear videos of different kind of aftermarket exhausts and its really hard to tell over the speakers. Does anyone know what aftermarket exhaust sounds close to the coupe?

Does the OEM G37 coupe note sound that much different from the Sedan note? I always thought they were both equally quiet. The 35 coupe is a different story though.

Look into the Tanabe's or Stillen. Heard nothing but good stories on the Stillen exhaust for the Sedans (that one's for you StopTheExcuses lol)

Invidia might make it sounds more like the coupe, if you are looking for a catback. If not, then I would try Tanabe.

first thanks for the replies so far, my concern is i dont want to get a very loud exhaust since i dont want trouble. but the oem exhaust are so damn quiet! thats why i want to get something that sounds like the coupe (either g37 or g35 i guess..)

Invidia is not very loud and it has no drone or rasp.

G37 coupe might not be loud, but the sedan's exhaust is virtually silent. If one of the manufacturers would read the millions of "I want the coupe exhaust sound" threads, and design one accordingly, they'd make a fortune.

Everyone has their opinion, but I think this is closest to coupe sound.
