WTF IS THAT. mine sounds nothing like that at all. but it rattles like a bitch. i am going to take a clip now brb....

 

ok i have a video of mine. sounds way different. also this is after the exhaust being replaced. both my old one and this new one have this yet no one else i have heard has. and when people hear it they are like wtf is the car suppose to sound like that because it sounds like ****.... would someone mind hosting it for me?

Mine rattles bad, but doesn't sound like this either.... yours sounds like someone playing ping pong :P Almost like some metal is bending/flexing when your engine moves during RPM increase.

 

I am gettin gmy 4th muffler installed today. They kept it overnight to order a new one...sigh... can't wait for my Tanabe.

yea seriously, after reading about the rattling coming back after being replaced and my dealer playing dumb telling me the rattles are normal, its not worth the trouble trying to get them replaced with OEM ones

Looks like I'm having EXACTLY the same problem. It's getting worse.

During a cold start when the engine starts at 2Krpm and gradually decreases to 700rpm....it happens around 1000rpm....Sounds like a vibrating ***** in a metal can.

 

I'm on my 2nd exhaust system too and it's happening again... though not as often (yet)... it's been like this for several months... I told IOT but they haven't offered to replace it, saying a new part might come out. I haven't checked in lately. What are you guys doing about it? (other than ordering a diff brand)

 

Were majority of the rattles for first edition cars?

 

Mine rattles at about 3k RPMS now along with cold idle... I called because this is just getting flat out embarrassing to drive. They said to bring it in Tuesday. They better have a muffler to replace it with.

I would be getting FI but I'm waiting for something that actually looks good and sounds better...

 

how could you say FI doesnt sound good...? ^ FI will have a new muffler combo soon... just wait till you see it
